You need to double check the refridgerant charge - system holds anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 pounds of R134a refridgerant. If you are sure refridgerant charge is correct I suspect it is a low side pressure cycling switch problem. Located on the passanger side towards the back of the engine on the silver accumulator - unplug connector; jump the two terminals together - if a/c compressor clutch comes on and stays on replace the switch.

Mercedes ML500 2006, Air conditioning not blowing air .

The main common reasons for the causes of broken air conditioning systems in vehicles are caused by either leaks or compressor issues. If your air is blowing cool but not cold then the problem could caused by a clogged filter or a cooling fan issue or radiator problems or it could be very simply that you need to recharge your AC. A mechanic would need to have a look at your car and see why the air conditioning unit is not working.

Our 2007 chevy aveo's air conditioning works fine until after an hour on the road, then the airflow becomes very limited. We have had the freon changed out, but this problem still occurs

there are many parts of the sysytem it could be. the schrader valve, relays and even a compressor. Take it to a GOOD A/C shop and have it inspected.

I have a 1992 Saturn and it runs great but if I go over 55 it runs hot and the air conditioning stops working. I noticed underneath the car there seems to be a piece missing that would connect to the...

sounds like your radiator is overheating and the a/c isn't getting enough cool air for the condensor.

The a/c problem is probably low freon (r134a) level and the overheat condition is due to a construction in the cooling system.

They are kind of separate issues.

good luck on fixing this one.

Air conditioning will not cool. I charged the

Make sure the pressure is 25 to 45 psi on the low side and that the pipes are getting cold on the low side.

Could be the vacuum controlled motors inside the dash.

Set climate control to hot then cold or the temperature control lever from hot to cold and listen for the vacuum motor operating the flap inside that changes the flow from the heater core to the evaporator inside the dash area.

Good luck to you.

Air conditioning system takes a charge, but the

high pressure switch is kicking out on overload, replace it or you might have too much freon

2002 Suzuki xl7 Mysterious Overheating Issue

Most Suzukis A/C systems will cut out when the engine tempurature is too high (to reduce the load on the engine). Also, in this condition, when the A/C compressor cuts out, the A/C thermo fan (electric - in front of the condensor) may come on ( to try and cool the engine). Combined with the fact that your temp gage says the engine is hot, I would be checking your cooling system very closely. It could be as simple as leaves blocking the air flow through the radiator (between the condensor and radiator), or as serious as the internal cores of the radiator being blocked (different sorts of coolant being used can sometimes produce solid matter that can do this).
