Have the fuel pressure checked, and see if it holds pressure for a period of time-about 15 minutes with key off.
Hard starting is often caused by a fuel pump that is worn or failing, possibly also a clogged fuel filter.

Check and change your fuel filter if that doesnt help then your fuel pump will more then likely be the culpret

could be afew things. vacuum leak, one dud HT lead, could be the water temperature sensor, O2 sensor, best to get it checked and get it read for fault codes

Hyundai Tucson 2L D runs fine for a few days than slows and surges. Sometimes no response from accelerator then pulls away slowly before picking up speed

just guessing have you checked your fuel filter?
fuel pump in good condition?
fuel injectors getting plugged up? there are injector cleaners on the market

2005 kia Rio Cinco. Runs really rough when starting it up; running ok when gas pedal is depressed. At idle speed it is bogging out almost stalling???

what is the idle speed? 750 rpm in drive or 800 in neutral?
check that
check for loose or damaged vacuum hoses, and air filter box leaks

1997 cadillac deville starts and runs fine after third attempt.Has b1971 code. What's the Problem?

i can't find that code listed. i was having a similar hard starting problem, and kept getting an oxygen sensor code, milage started dropping. got harder to start, then wouldn't at all. had to change my fuel pump in sub-zero weather. might want to check that out befor you need that garage heater.

catalydic converter is melted- as it gets hotter- chokes the exhaust down- engine runs harder and hotter... replace

2004 Kia rio. starts when petrol is placed in the air filter but when runs out engine stalls. Replaced fuel pump, but makes no difference. Any other ideas? Stumped....

Did you change the gas line filter ?
Are you sure theres power to new fuel pump ?
Does the fuel pump make a small humming noise when you turn the key to the start possition ?
Is the fuel pressure regulator working ?

Mitsubishi gto 93 runs ok but when you want to accelerate harder it loses power and starts to splutter as if no petrol getting through,release throtle runs alright.some times when restarted after 5 mins...
