I don't believe your particular vehicle's cooling system needs to be bled during coolant filling, but check the coolant level first. It seems that the coolant level is too low for the sensors to be able to sense the temperature, or the sensors are disconnected. Look for a connector on the intake manifold, near the coolant outlet. Ensure it is properly connected.

SOURCE: 1992 plymouth voyager keeps overheating

Sometimes the pipe that runs under the intake will leak. Can you smell antifreeze burning while you are driving? Another way to tell, is to let the vehicle run with the cap off. IF you get alot of bubbles out of the radiator, you have a cracked head, or a bad head gasket which is also a fairly common problem. It will push the antifreeze out of the radiator, and cause it to overheat.

SOURCE: heater blows cold air 1995 plymouth voyager

With the engine cold & the radiator full remove the radiator cap and start the engine. Let the engine reach operating temperature which will open the thermostat. When it opens the water in the radiator will start circulating if the pump & thermostat are operating properly. If all is ok replace the cap and turn the temperature lever on the heater to hot If you still have no heat check the heater valve on the engine firewall. Open it manually and see if you have heat. If yes check the cable from the velve to the temperature lever.

I have a 1997 plymouth grand voyager. When I turn on my air conditioner, I do not receive any cold air only hot air.I used to receive cold out a couple of months ago but even then it would only blow c

The likely cause is a bad compressor clutch, but there are other possible causes. The first thing to do is to observe the compressor with the engine running. The clutch is inside the pulley. When the a/c is off, the pulley turns on thr belt, but the clutch does not turn. When the a/c is turned on, the clutch should lock on the pulley and turn with it. Run this test and post the result here.

I had the same problem with my voyager. it was the "freeze plug" or "soft plug" on
the side of the engine block. It is about an hours work for a shop and cost me
about 127 dollars. They do make an expanding plug as a replacement which I
purchased to carry just in case another failed. The main issue is getting the old
one out because of it's location. Hope this helps.

97 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.3 engine. The transmision just started slipping. The fluid level is fine and there are no leaks. There are no check engine lights on. Was running perfectly. What is the problem?

I have replaced alot of transmissions in thease vans, i would try changing the filter and fluid, if that doesn't help you may be looking at replacing the tranny.

My 1997 Plymouth Voyager mini van 2.4 liter van is leaking the water on the outside of the van in the front passenger side. Can't find the leak. It leaks when I'm parked and when I'm driving.

well it can only come from the radiator hoses or the water pump...

to check if your water pump is still good just take a flashlight and spot on top of the pump. there should be a little hole on top behind the pulley. if it is damp you have to replace the pump.

besides that just check the hoses one at the time

Coolant leak

without any more description than this can only guess as to where. The hose end can leak because it's not on properly,< loose, crooked , torn etc. Hose is attached to water pump and it can leak from seal around mounting point or the hole on bottom side of pulley shaft. If leak is from water pump then you should replace it,< to repair seal it has to be removed and putting a new one on is best to complete repair without possibly having it break you down soon after repairing seal>, if it is leaking from hole on pulley shaft it will have to be replaced.

Overheating engine

About two gallons of water/coolant total. If you have to add coolant then there must be a leak. On the expansion tank is a cold and hot level. Good luck
