I took out a 2003 hyundai santa fe blower motor by removing the three mouting screws, now i cant get it to go back in, any sugestions
To anyone looking for a REAL answer to how you get the blower motor back in.....
1) there is a 10mm nut behind the kick panel on the right hand side sort of hidden by wiring. Remove kick panel by unscrewing 2 Phillips head screwdriver. Loosen the nut almost till it comes off the stud it's on.
2) there is a 10mm bolt in the middle of the foot well at the edge of the carpeting where a black plastic flange comes down. Remove that bolt.
3) there is now about a 1/4 inch of forward play in the blower motor/HVAC housing. Have one person pull the housing towards the passenger seat while a second person pushes the blower motor into place.
4) secure blower motor with 3 screws. Replace housing bolt and tighten nut down on the stud. Replace kick panel. Finish repair as normal.
