SOURCE: where is the cannister purge solenoid on a 2007 ford e250

You should be able to locate it by the vacuum line diagram that should be located on the radiator support when you open the hood----you also go to autozone.com----if I remember correctly they have a vehicle part locator---you enter the part your looking for and it shows/tells you where it is on the vehicle

Hello I need help locating the fuse/relay for my power windows on my 2006 Pontiac G6. My windows are stuck in the down position.

The 2007 Pontiac G6 engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the battery. The wiring circuits in Pontiac G6 are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses, circuit breakers and fusible links. This greatly reduces the chance of damage caused by electrical problems. Below diagram and table shows 2007 Pontiac G6 Engine Compartment Fuse Panel, Relay and the Circuit Protected.

2007 G6 GT Convertible: Pontiac G6 Convertable makes a knocking noise in t...

There are anywhere from 3 to 4 vent, defrost, temperature control solenoids in the suitcase or under dash area. What it sounds like is that one of your solenoids which is electronic and is gear driven has a tooth gear where several teeth are broken and the gear cannot complete the cycle that is selected from the control panel. If it is the vent you are trying to open or close, then it is the vent solenoid that needs to be replaced. Bet to go on line to u-tube, in your brouser select your vehicle year, make, model and include 'changing vent solenoid'. You will get several video giving exact detail on how to check for a bad solenoid and then how to change it.
