A friend jump started our vehicle yesterday (battery to battery). When we got home he came over and said his car now will not start. He said he has had no problems up until this point. The battery checked 12.5 volts. I pulled are reseated the fuse links, none of which were blown. I didn't check the relay (inhibit relay?) but did put my finger on it while he tried to crank the car and could feel it and hear it open and close. He says all other electrical items are working, just no start. It was getting dark so I wasn't even able to follow wires to the starter but is there another fuse link or fuse to check?
There is no further fuses iin this line. You didn't say why your car wouldn't start in the first place. Jump starting yours, shouldn't have affected his!
Sorry mate. I didn't think of this, how old was his battery, or his car, the power surge trying to start your car could have caused the cells in his battery to collapse. It will still read 12-12.5v but turn the side lights on on his car, and get him to turn the key, the sidelights will probably go out. That means his battery needed replacing anyway, you just gave him a helping hand in making it now than when he wasn't expecting it.

The motor home battery I couldn't teel you but if you're talking about the vattery for yhe charger, it's located in the Passenger side inside the trunk. There is a cover over it that has to be removed to get access to it. If jumping, there are posts next to the battery I believe designed just forr jumping. I would REALLY suggest just charging the motor home batteries or using a different vehicle to use. Have found on your kind of vehicle that sometimes when getting jumped or visa versa That it causes an electrical problem. there is a fuse link in the wiring directly (sort of) from the battery to the alternator. Have seen this fuse link blown a lot and MANY people change the alternator thinking the alt. is bad beause the battery goes dead not to mention the car letting you know thta there is a charging problem.Hope this helps.....

My car wouldn't start due to a dead battery. I had started mine the day before by leaving it on the battery charger for the day. The next morning mine was dead again. I charged mine for a couple hours to go buy another battery but it hadn't charged enough to start. I saw my neighbor outside and asked for a jump start. He has taken his battery to a local store to have it tested. He said this morning he also checked if his lights would dim when he turned the key. He said they did. Also, it turns out his battery is 5 or 6 years old so...I didn't see how jumping mine from his would affect his either but might have pushed his over the edge.

thank you caradog. i climbed under the car in the daylight, verified power to the starter and solenoid then gently tapped the started and solenoid with a wooden stick/hammer. i had my thoughts set on another link but low and behold it started. by the way, the battery checked fine at the store.
