SOURCE: Plug wires on a 97 camry

Some Vehicles Are Equipped With A V-Bank Cover Remove The Three 5mm Cap Nuts To Gain Access. Also It Has A Fastener For The V-Bank Cover This Can Be Screwed Off As Well Then On Installation It Pushes Back On. On V-6 Models You May Need To Remove The 10mm Retaining Bolt From The Coil Pack Cover.
On The Engine End To Release The Locking Claw Use A Small Screwdriver Or Alike. Then Grasp Boot Not Wire And Twist As You Pull.
Please Take Caution And Do Not Have The Vehicle Running Cause They Can Give You A Pretty Good Shock. Also Replace Them One At A Time So You Don't Risk Mixing Them Up.
I Hope This Helps And Good Luck.

What is required to change the plug wires on the engine's right bank on a 1996 Buick Roadmaster?

THIS VEHICLE HAS OPTIC SPARK DIST. THE PLUG WIRES RUN ALONG A CHANNEL BEHIND THE ALT AND A/C COMPRESSOR. THE WIRES MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED IN THE CHANNELS OR CHAFFING AND PINCHING WILL RESULT. VERY GOOD SYSTEM, JUST A LITTLE HARD TO REPLACE.

2000 Toyota camery won't crank

Crank means engine does not spin. Make sure your battery terminals are clean and tight. If the starter is getting good battery power, see if your center two spark plugs are wet, crank it with those plugs removed to clear any accumulated water from a blown gasket. If you need to test your battery, listen to the sound of your horn with heater and wipers on full. Try to turn your engine a little with a socket on your alternator pulley bolt. It should move the belt very easily.
If you want to test your starter, for the 4 cylinder 2AZ engine clamp a test wire on red positive battery terminal and touch the other end of it to the terminal on your starter - the little black wire clip connector just behind that metal brace.front side of starter. The V6 engine starter is a little harder to reach.

How do i change the plugs and wires on a 1996 lexus ls 400

The spark plugs are located in well in the valve cover, remove them one at a time with a deep 5/8 good quality spark plug socket 3/8" drive on a 12 inch extension and a like sized ratchet. Remove the spark plug boot from the plug with a twisting motion side to side with the spark plug out remove the spark plug wire for that cylinder from the distributor cap and match it by length to the new wire in the spark plug wire set, make sure you get the closest one in length to the original wire, this is important. In stall the spark plug back into the valve cover well and attach the long plug boot to it in a twisting motion, use a little silicone grease on the inside of the boot to ease installation, it is supplied with the wire kit. Repeat this for each cylinder and match the individual wire lengths as you go as close as possible to the original wires. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU FIND OIL ON THE PLUGS OR WIRE BOOTS THE VALVE COVER GASKET IS LEAKING INTO THE SPARK PLUG WELLS AND MUST BE REPLACED.

Changing spark plug wires

The best way is to replace one wire at a time. Grab each wire boot and twist back and forth to break loose the sealing to the plug, and pull off. When reinstalling, make sure that all wires are seated in the ditributor cap, they can be a little tough to get seated properly.

My truck is a 1996 1/2ton there is gas getting to the engine and there is spark in the spark plugs we fixed the distributor cap and checked all the spark plug wires, the truck will turn over but it will...

Hmm, This sounds like a timing problem.

Best way to do this easily is that:

Take out the #1 spark plug crank/tap motor over until air comes out of spark plug hole--compression stroke(this is "TDC"---Top Dead Center)

Remove Distrubutor cap and check and see if rotor points to #1 spark plug wire on cap----if not move the #1 spark plug wire to that position on cap---then install rest of spark plug wires according to the firing order from the #1 plug wire.

Install #1 spark plug and start truck---you may have to rotate distributor a little bit to get best performance.
