call a windscreen replacement shop but windscreens are designed specifically for each model of vehicle
so a 1995 model pontiac will be all the same screen for a 1995 pontiac sedan, coupe, soft top wagon but will be different to 1994 or 1996 unless that model was over several years (1993-1997)

No - the part numbers do not cross reference. Though both cars share many of the same parts, the differ many times on body parts. If you are able to install the glass yourself, there are many websites and even brick and mortar supply houses that can get you a windshield fairly economically. If you are thinking of pulling a windshield from a car for free - when it comes to Taurus vs Sable - they are quite different.

the seal is different, 89 is a rubber seal and 95 is bonded, and think its 5mil larger on 95.

Most salvage yards should have the interchange info you need.

96-99 saturn

Start with a quote from a professioal team. The price of glass for windsheilds is way down and i was stunned how cheap it is.

Also, the windshield is a "structural member" of modern vehicles (yes, a 1999 saturn fits in that category). As a structural member, the windshield must be fastened to the vehicle so securely that it provides strength in the case of a crash or roll-over.

The more popular vehicles might get a new windshield installed for $125 - 200. Hardley worth the time and tools and adhesive to buy a used one and do it yourself.

Sorry it is kind of a "non-answer" but worth the effort to know before you start.

most all body and interior parts will interchange 96-99. engine however is different, you can put a SOHC engine into another car made for SOHC. you cannot put a DOHC engine into a saturn made for the SOHC engine or vice versa. the transmissions have different gear ratios. and the engines changed between 98 and 99 so you may have some problems swapping between those years.

96-99 SL1, SC1, SW1. Avoid the 2 models, they are DOHC and have different gear ratios

the first thing you need to do is figure out what engine you have. there are only two saturn engine blocks 91-99. one is a DOHC for you a SW2 and the other a SOHC for you a SW1. The transmissions for the two engines are different, common mistake you should not make, different final gear ratios. When you find that out call a junkyard and they have interchange numbers to tell you which year saturn transmissions will fit, probably a 95-98 will go in.
