. It's entirely possible that a component failed. For instance, if the clutch pressure plate failed, then the clutch pedal will feel very spongy and can cause the car to slip and be very difficult to shift. If it has a dampened flywheel, and that fails, then the car may lose the ability to go anywhere. It will go into gear fine, but will not move forward. If a clutch release lever failed, it may no longer release the clutch enough to allow gear changes, though slipping would be minimal. A failing hydraulic component could also cause the clutch to fail very quickly. Based on the symptoms, I think that the pressure plate has failed, but it's impossible to say for sure without seeing the car in person. You should have a qualified technician inspect your car

SOURCE: which cylinder in #6 on a 2006 V6 hyundai sonata

Autozone.com says that for this vehicle the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 and the set-up is 2/1 4/3 6/5 meaning that the #6 cylinder is far right on the back. It goes #1 #3 and #5 in the front and #2 #4 and #6 in the back.

What mileage? where does the pedal "take up". You have given no really useful information to assist. On experience I will say this. The clutch may be worn or spirngs weakened through your poor driving techniques... or it could simply have engine oil on it from a faulty rear main seal...whatever it is you should have the box out and the items inspected yes for analysis..but replace the oil seal, machine flywheel (sanding is NOT good enough and instal a new clutch kit. .

Clutches slip at every clutch change..but that is limited.... a slippng clutch during driving should always have the flywwheel machined and the work done as stated above. Cheers Tony.

Interior lights won't turn off in my 2012 sonata

typically there is a switch on the light or a control on your dash dimmer control. If adjusting the switch with the door shut does not turn off the light within a couple minutes then the switch bad and would need to be replaced.

Transmition dont change from 3rd to 4th speed Hyundai Sonata v6 1997 3.0L it get neutral while trying to change

I take it that this transmission is a 5 speed manual transmission. Make sure that you have plenty of clutch fluid in the clutch master cylinder and that the pedal is properly adjusted. If so, then you may have internal problem with the syncro sleeves.

89 ranger manual trans slipping already replace clutch and slave cylinder? still slipping any help?

Manual transmissions do not slip ie. when the gears mesh, there is no slip unless they strip out and make an awful noise and will not pull henceforth.

You probably still have a slipping clutch plate against the flywheel. You need to adjust the clutch petal linkage shaft to allow the pressure plate to be release from the thrust bearing, ie shorten the shaft length.. If you and most likely you do just have the clutch release slave cylinder that releases the clutch when you apply the petal. You need to bleed the slave cylinder of any excess fluid or air that may have entered the line if you opened it at any point. You need to bleed it as you would a break cylinder and this should fix ya.
good luck.
