I had this problem with mine. Do not ever use a automated car wash on your ALERO----it destroys the seal around the window. Then, when you drive in rain, water leaks into the fuse box, shorting it out. I had to replace the fuse box ($500). Hope this helps.

I have the same problem i've found all three fuse boxes there is one on the driver side to the left of the wheel and one on the passenger side to the right of the dash board and one under the hood of the car my question is what to do next?

simple fix is replace the flasher any local parts store has them and will be more than happy to show you the location it should be by the fuse panel

also check to see if tube that runs your climate door is not pinched or broken. the vaccum tube that runs the climate door is behind and under the battery. i had same problem a year ago and the tube was partially cut. i fixed it by cuttinga piece of aquarium tubing and spliced it back together. one other thing.....check to see if your radiator over flow cap is tight. your cap maybe bad and or cracked this would also cause the problem.
