I believe on the Lacrosse you have to remove the glove box to change the bulb. This may be helpful to you.

SOURCE: how do i change the low-beam bulb on my 2005 buick

there should be 2 brackets at the rear of bulb housing, 1 may have a small bolt.....lift these up and the headlamp housing should come out. you will see how it works when you get it apart.

SOURCE: How do remove headlight assembly on 2005 Buick

I just changed the low beam bulb in a '05 Buick LaCrosse and found it really rather easy after researching it. I found no reason to remove the grill and the bumper cover, BUT you do have to remove the top 4 fastners that hold the grill assy to the radiator support, then you can work the headlight assy forward enough to work it out of the socket and turn it down so you can get to the bulb pockets on the back side. NO NEED to remove it all, just loosen it and gentley pry things forward enough to get the light assy out. ALSO> My supplier said his Wagner lighting book called for a 9006 bulb, but the car I worked took a H11. About 4x the money over a plain ol 9006 bulb but it might save someone picking up the wrong bulb. I hope this helps someone else out....Best of luck to you all

Replace the switch since you've replaced other components. Also check to be certain all connections are secure.

Sampson, sounds like a bunt out bulb, which will need changed.
If you feel comfortable doing it yourself. Basically three screws, and you have to pull one plastic fastener from the fascia (bumper) and pull the bumper back a bit, and pull the assembly out. I believe it is in the manual, not bad to do. I will post a link to tell or show you how to do it. Press the helpful button

How to change headlight 2005 buick

Open the hood, look at the headlight. Most have a plastic clip that you can pull up. This will unlock the light socket. Then reach in behind the grill and turn the light socket counter clockwise and pull it out. Then unclip and disconnect the light bulb from the socket. Reverse procedure to install the new light bulb.
