Headlights will not go on unless I pull the high beam low beam on the steering column and hold it and when I let go it goes off. Only high beams come on and can not go to low beams

I checked fuse box under hood and found the right headlamp fuse was burnt. I changed fuse and everything works correct now.
SOURCE: No high beams, problem is not multifunction switch
Check the headlight switch to make sure that the connections or internal connections aren't corroded. This was a major problem for older fords, so it would be good to check it anyway.

SOUNDS LIKE INTEGRATED POWER MODULE(UNDERHOOD FUSEBLOCK)IS DEFECTIVE..ALSO CHECK FOR CORRODED TERMINALS IN CONNECTORS ON FUSEBLOCK..HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE AND NEW FUSEBLOCK WAS NEEDED AND REPAIRED PROBLEM

disconnect the module that is mounted in front of the fuse box .Then carefully clean the the connectors ,they are usually pretty dirty. After they are clean put it back 2gether.If it doesnt solve the prob then u might have to stick some washers on your bottom screws so that your module is angled in.This will ensure a solid connection.
