Computpotorbox on 1997 audi replaced but will not start

either filter plugged or pump is bad. If the filer is blocked the pump has to be replace. Replace both of them

Most likely you can get a seal kit from the dealer. It is most likely a front shaft seal. This is a fairly easy repair to do if you are somewhat handy.

Dead Battery --Replace it

Not sure about Audis but it sounds like the security system has fuel injectors restricted and if so thats a dealership job to replace the BCM.

Your crank sensor is bad. That is also what causes a no start like you are experiencing. The crank sensor takes the place of a distributor and tells the computer what position the engine or crank is at so it knows where to send the spark. You are going to need to have the crank sensor replaced.

Your ignition switch could be bad. If so, the car could confused about what to start and when, and also explain why your panel isn't working.

It's a common problem for the switch to go bad. You can buy a new one on Ebay cheap, however the replacement is not easy.
