According to the code reader ????? No it doesn't ! No code say's to replace a part . Diagnose trouble code has step by step diagnostic procedures to follow ,at the end of diagnostic's it may need a new part , but till the diagnostic's are done you don't just replace a part . It's a mistake to sell code readers to people that have no clue . Do yourself a favor an take your vehicle to a quailfied repair shop

SOURCE: 2003 Jeep Liberty heater fan problem

It is the blower motor resistor. Look under the passanger side dash and locate the fan housing (looks round and black in color. Then locate the resistor it will be in that housing usually withtwo ten millimeter nuts or two simple screws holding it in. unplug the harness to the resistor and remove the resistor. Part store price is approx. 50.00. Note: on aftermarket (not Jeep) resistor sometimes you have to modify the housing a little to get it in. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: locassion of output speed sensor on 2003 Town and Country

The input and output speed sensors look identical on the connector side. The one over the solenoid pack is the input, the one closer to the left frame rail or left front wheel is the output sensor. I hope this helps.

thats correct, may have bad ecm (computer) or bad wire to crank sensor from ecm, also ive run into this problem and it was the new sensor i put in was no good and aftermarket, also cam sensor can do this, and also make sure the 5 volt feed wire is good, good luck hope this helps.

Testimonial: "It ended up being the cam sensor. Thanks for the info. Fixed it right up."

Jeep Liberty 2002 woahs !
by porth21 - 2/1/09 7:35 AM In reply to: Jeep Liberty 2002 speedometer not working by Dannywon
I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited with the same problem. The main problem I have found to be the routing of the speed sensor wires located on the rear difrential. They are 2 blue wires on my jeep and probably the same on yours. The problem is that they rub on the E-brake cable and once the wire is exposed they short and the speedometer and any other options running off they speed sensor quit working and that includes the tranny shift points and can cause the torque converter to not unlock and cause stalls. I am having the same problem for the third time and chrysler and jeep are both aware of the problem and unwilling to repair the problem or post a recall.

Engine dies, starts rough

Most large parts stores read codes free. Most common cause is crank sensor, but I'd have code checked before buying anything.
