SOURCE: 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee No Start

I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.

Cranks won't start

First you must check to see if engine is mechanical sound by performing a compression test. remove the spark plugs install a compression gauge in the spark plug hole and crank engine about 4 cycles compare readings to all cylinders reading should be around 125-150 psi readings in the 50 psi range possible jumped or broken timing belt. If engine is mechanically sound test for spark at the spark plugs use a spark plug laid against valve cover and have some one crank it over look for the spark to jump the gap. A no spark problem is internal in the distributor.

My 94 civic will crank but not start there are so many possibilities on what could be the problem. fuel, spark, electrical, and computer wise distributor rotor timing timing belt cam shaft sensor or broken...

first see if you can hear the fuel pump in the tank, then if you can then check for spark at any spark plug also note if cranks slow like low battery voltage as this can and will cause a feed back of voltage to the distributor control module and short it out, if no spark replace the distributor

1995 honda odissey cranks but wont start

To clarify, the check engine light should stay on until the engine starts.
Someone will need to figure out if you are lacking spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, or compression to proceed.

Getting a code 15 just replaced spark plugs distributor and wires what can i do

taken from autozone .com

The system used on 1990-95 Accords and 1989-95 fuel injected Preludes uses the distributor components to signal the engine computer. The ECU triggers the spark through the igniter unit and coil. This spark timing is controlled by the computer as an integrated function of the fuel management system. The distributor contains a crankshaft angle sensor and a No. 1 Cylinder Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor. Using these and other electrical inputs, the computer controls spark timing electrically. This system eliminates the need for mechanical and/or vacuum advance mechanisms within the distributor.

the highlighted components might cause a code 15 fault

1995 Honda Accord will not start

First you must check to see what missing. You must have spark at the pugs and gas at the injector for this car to start. See whats missing and get back to me. The 1995 Honda Accord has a history of bad distributor. If there is no spark at the spark plugs replace distributor. However on some models the coil is separate and not in the distributor, if so make sure the coil is working.
