How did jump starting the vehicle burn headlamp wire ? Check the left low beam fuse # 7 10 amp - located in the underhood fuse / relay box. Does the high beam work on the right side ? The light that is dimly lit has a ground issue or not enough voltage ,testing that circuit using voltage drop testing would be the way to find the problem . Do you know what a wiring diagrams is ? an how to read one ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test electrical circuit's ? Watch these two guy's video on voltage drop testing.

SOURCE: lowbeam headlight not working

I went to the dealer, the parts for this are back ordered... must be a common problem.

The terminal clips weaken over time, then fail. They need to be replaced, if you go the the Volvo dealer and ask they may help you out. Failing that, you could contact Volvo directly and ask them. They may make good for you. If nobody will help you, maybe the NHSTA should know about this saftey defect...

07 G6 drivers side headlight not working

There could be several reasons why the driver side headlight on your 2007 Pontiac G6 is not working. Some possible causes include a blown headlight bulb, a faulty headlight relay, or a problem with the headlight wiring. It's also possible that the issue is related to the turn signal, as you mentioned that it was staying on. I would recommend checking the headlight bulb first. If it is blown, replace it with a new one. If the bulb is fine, the issue may be with the headlight relay or wiring. You can also check the turn signal switch or the multifunction switch, which controls the turn signals and headlight. It may be possible that the switch is defective or malfunctioning. It would be best to get the vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic to determine the cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.

You have lost the ground, evidently on the left side. The lamps act that way because one of the lamps is grounding through the elements of the other lamp.

2003 Pontiac Grand Am brights work but ONE low beam is out ...

You most likely need a new low beam headlight BULB.It has the low and high beam in it and the separate high beam has only high.
You SHOULD have 2 tabs ,one at each end to pull up and the headlight assembly should then come out easily.
Tapping a blown out headlight can reattach the filament for a short time but after that replacement is necessary.

Passenger headlights only do not operate.

check the bulbs first and also the fuses theres a fuse for each side and for low and high beams, start there, good luck.
