You vehicle has two fuse's ! one in the underhood fuse box EPS/STR WHLCNTRL an it is a 60 amp . An there is one in the BCM fuse center - EPS 2amp fuse ! do you know what an where the BCM is ? The BCM - body control module !

you could read the FSM. its all there. or at alldata.com EPS is complex. tech. but do check fuses. the light on, has meanings, look it up. some cars have DTCs for this system. scan it . use a scan tool. see if there are DTCs stored, or set. 1:check fuses 2: Scan it 3: look for front end damage (road hazard damage)
Under the hood, on the Driver's side is the main fuse box. EPS fuse is #1 and is a 60A. Also, there is another 2A fuse located in the small fusebox on the inside, passenger side on the console (near firewall).
if indeed you have the electronic power steering there is a fuse under the hood , in the fuse block labeledEPS , fuse #43 , its a 60 amp fuse . i'm not diagnosing your problem here just answering your question . thanks johnny .
