Where is the ac relay on a 92 corvette? - 1992 Chevrolet Corvette

BEFORE U DO THAT CHECK THE AC FUSE IN THE FUSE PANEL.AC COMPRESSOR SHOULD BE MOUNTED ON TOP LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF THE ENGINE WITH TWO SILVER LINES HOOKED TO IT.

It's not the relays. It's the control module or wiring. If you bought a used one, it could be bad. If new, it could be bad also, it has set on a shelf for years. You need a schematic. Your scanner already said this. A/C not requested..

It is possible the car jumpe time. It coul also be the ignition switch need to be replaced. Good luck

mcdevito75 here, At the relays wiggle the wires to see for loose connection, also see if you can jump the fan direct to the battery to see if the fan works., Also the fan relay could be bad, or the temp. Between the relays and fan there is a temp sensor that puts the fan on, jump that and see if the fan works.

This IS a Cooling FAN RELAY Failure for sure , I Would Also NOW Replace the Thermostat as Overheating is NOT Good for them.

its pretty easy. it only has 4 bolts. 2 that are in front 1 in front of the driver and the second in the front of the passenger, if you move the sun blocker you will see a hole. loosen those because they dont come off. the other 2 are behind the driver and the passenger which do come off entirely. you will need the corvette tool to remove all of them or maybe just an allen key will do.

check the low side switch located on the ac receiver drier for 12 volts if so jump it with a paper clip if the compressor comes on then the relay is good if not the relay is in the fuse junction box under the hood.Most likely the pressure sensor.
