LOCATION OF FUSE BOX ON 1983 CAPRI - Capri Mercury Cars & Trucks

Should be under the dash on the outside of the steering column on the drivers side.

The fuse box is under the dash, drivers side, towards the left. The window fuse is a 30 amp that powers both windows.

There are lots of other reasons these Capri windows stop working, from bad switches to broken motor regulators.

If the fuse does not fix it, post again and we can figure out what is wrong...Chris

use a test light to check if your fuse are good check both sides it will be a 20 amp fuse

I think the fuse box is under the dash on the drivers side behind a kick
panel. Hope the info helps.

fuse box located below steering column on back of panel. remove 4 phillips screws from acess panel to expose fuse block.

at the base of the steering colomn where the colomn goes under the dash is a panel that is held on with two screws take them out and the panel comes off

is it the fuse or the reley look at the salvage yard and find manule buy it for 5 bucks and locate the fuse if not fuse ask dealer for reley and location of reley

fuse box is under the dash on drivers side..If everything looks good there check your grounds.. May have to take some off and clean the metal and connector to make a good ground. And if no luck with either of those then clean your contact points on your light bulb socket..

there are sometime two fuse box,one main box on the right side of engine,its a relay fuse
box with a square black cover,to open just lift it back and easily to open,on cover back side there is the location where the circuit was fusable,e.g light cigarette,fuel pump..etc.other on is on the left side of dash board beside steering rod,a small panel just lift it up and pull out cover , at the bottom of corner there are the location also of the fusable circuit.hope you can find it out,regards and have a nice day don't forget to rate me.
