SOURCE: 2003 Seville STS low beam headlights don't work

ya its is prolly the bulbs, open your hood. look behind your headlamps, some have covers for the low beam and high beam. if there are covers turn on your high beams so you will know which bulb is your lowbeam. if you can unplug them. after cover is removed and you can acces the bulbs. they either twist out, lefty lossey. or they have little metal retainers that you have to move a certian way before you can swing the retainer out. its like a door you just have to unhook the proper side of retainer and the other side will be hinged. use a flash light and look at it close. good luck

SOURCE: headlights do not work on 96 camaro.

by looking at the manual for my 97 Camaro and if you say that the switch is good then that helps narrow it down a lot, because i found a circuit breaker... not a fuse!...located inside the headlamp switch itself. good luck and let me know if you find it... c.b's. are usually resetable please let me know if you fix it because i have the same car and it might go out on me someday..thanks man! also you can see if your getting voltage on the yellow wire when the switch is in the "head" position..if its not there, then its almost a guaranty that its the c.b.

Hi, the relay is under the hood on the drivers side in the fuse/relay box. Position of each of the relay is indicated on the underside of the lid for the compartment. You have to replace either the relay or the fuse to fix the problem.

There is a relay in the fuse box in the engine compartment, but it would handle both high and low beams. So I would guess the problem is in the dimmer switch.

Where is the headlight relay located on a 2002 PT Cruiser?

Did you check the fuse box inside the cabin ? The book says the relay is in the fuse block but does not give a description.
Keep in mind the headlight relay only affects the headlights. The other lights you mentioned are on different fuses and not the headlight fuses.

I have a 2000 chrysler 300 m and the headlights won't turn on

Take a volt meter and see if you have voltage to the back of the bulb. You don't know how many people dive with one headlight out and then the other goes out and they can't figure it out.Look in the big black box under the hood and look for headlight fuse or a relay for headlight.Replace fuse or take relay and swap it with one of the same type in the box. If none of that works it is the switch or the integrated power module

My low beam headlights won't turn on in 2004 gmc envoy

It's the headlamp relay #46. If you want to test it, swap it out with the cooling fan relay #45 and see if your headlights work. If they do you know this is the fix. Found the solution online a couple of years ago and it was spot-on. The part was $45 at autozone at the time.

The left and right headlights are on different fuses. If both are not working, you need to check the fusible link, headlight relay, and the switch itself. See diagram below.

My 2003 civic headlights won't turn on. The parking, high beams, etc. all work fine. What's the fix?

its possible the headlight relay is bad it should be labeled on the fuse / relay box you can swap it out with a different relay( stop light relay ) in the box just to see if that works. Just make sure you don't try and use the fuel pump relay or your vehicle wont start.

Both lowbeam headlight not working

Duralast / Relay - Headlamp Part Number:
20601
Autozone: $39.99 I had the exact problem with my 2004 Envoy. You need to replace the Headlamp Relay. This is a very simple fix. The relay is located under the hood in box just above the battery. Pull the cover off of the box, look at underside of box to see layout of relays/fuses, i do not recall the exact abbrevaition used for the headlamp relay but there are only two relays in there that look like the one you need, just play with those two and you will get it. Do not take it to the shop, my wife took ours in and they charged us way to much to diagnose such a simple fix. You can test it before you buy the part by switching the relays that are the same around and seeing if your headlights work (they will). It is as simple as changing what looks like a big fuse.
