SOURCE: How to remove 2003 engine cooling fan assembly?

The fan assembly is attached using either small bolts or clips. in some cases you will have to remove the upper radiator hose to allow the fan to come out the top. just simply remove the top bolts and the hose and the fan should slide right out.

SOURCE: 2002 landrover freelander cooling fan assembly

The fan module is the big silver box with fins on it, right next to the fans. Just follow the fan cables and you will find it. Don't jumper the fans without unplugging or you may destroy the power transistors in the fan unit. Check the temperature sensor for the fan control unit - near the front of the engine - it should have some resistance - not be short circuit or open circuit, it is a sensor, not a switch. If short or open, that is likely to be the problem, otherwise, ensure that the control units have electrical supply, otherwise, it is very likely to be the control unit.

How is the a/c condenser attached to the radiator on a 2006 impala

According to Mitchell On Demand, you need to remove the radiator first. Remove cooling fan assembly and then the radiator. The condenser just rests on the radiator mounts with 4 mounting pads. You lift the condenser off these to just replace the radiator leaving the condenser in place. Of course after removing the radiator, you disconnect the condenser lines and remove it at that time.

How do I change the front right turn signal on my 2006 Chrysler Sebring?

There are 2 8mm screws on top of assembly. Remove and pull out assembly. Disconnect wiring and screw out bulb. The screws are pretty long, so just keep screwing. It's really very easy.

How to Remove a Radiator in a 1996 Chrysler sebring

Check this procedure for Sebring Coupe and Avenger (see Figure 1 - click for zoom)...
The radiator is the corrugated fin, downflow type, and is cooled by electric radiator fans. Service the cooling system with high quality ethylene glycol or other aluminum compatible antifreeze coolant.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Loosen the radiator drain plug and, using a large capacity container, drain the cooling system.
  3. Remove the radiator cap.
  4. If necessary for clearance, remove the bracket and plastic branch tube running from the air cleaner.
  5. Disconnect the overflow tube and remove the coolant reserve tank.
  6. Disconnect the upper radiator hose.
It is recommended that each clamp be matchmarked to the hose. Observe the marks and reinstall the clamps in exactly the same position when reinstalling the radiator.
  1. Label and disengage the wiring to the thermosensors and the electric fan assemblies.
  2. For vehicles with automatic transaxles, disconnect the oil cooler lines at the radiator. Plug the transaxle ports and the hose ends to contain the fluid and prevent contamination.
  3. Remove the lower radiator hose.
  4. Remove the bolts holding the upper mounting brackets to the support member. Remove the radiator, with the cooling fans as an assembly.

Fig. 1: Typical cooling system assembly-Sebring coupe and Avenger

To install:

  1. If the fan and shroud assemblies were removed with the radiator, they must be reinstalled before installing the radiator. The mounting bolts for the fans should be tightened to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm). If the thermosensors were removed, they should be reinstalled and tightened to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
  2. Reinstall the radiator, making certain all the mounts and bushings are correctly positioned. Tighten the mounting bolts to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm). Double check the drain plug to make sure it is closed.
  3. Connect the oil cooler lines and attach the brackets.
  4. Connect the wiring to the electrical components, making sure each is correctly located and securely fastened.
  5. Connect the upper and lower radiator hoses and the overflow hose. Install the coolant reserve tank.
  6. Install the branch tube and its bracket.
  7. Fill the system with coolant.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable, run the vehicle until the thermostat opens, fill the radiator completely and check the automatic transaxle fluid level, if equipped.
  9. Allow the engine to warm up fully and check that the fans cycle on and off correctly. Watch the coolant level carefully in the overflow tank.
  10. Once the vehicle has cooled, recheck the coolant level.

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer).

How do I replace the headlight assembly on a 2006 sebring?

  1. Remove the front bumper cover
  2. Remove the upper headlight housing mounting bolt and pushpin
  3. Remove the lower headlight housing mounting bolts
  4. Pull out the headlight housing assembly and disconnect the electrical connector.
Its pretty easy. Just raise the hood, see the two silver 8mm cap screws on top of the cross member that supports the radiator and fan assembly. Two screws on each side above the headlight housings. The outer screw is right next to the corner of the fender when the hood is raised. Remove the two screws, then the headlight assembly is loose. Just gently pull the headlight assembly forward enought to see the three lamp socket holders on the back side of the headlight assembly. From the outside corner to the inside are first, the parking turn signal, then the low beam lamp and finally the last, the high beam lamp. To remove the lamp socket, push the small plastic locking tab and turn the socket assemby counter clockwise about a half turn and remove the lamp. Now you can replace the lamp and install it back the same way you took it out. Don't touch the new lamp glass with your bare fingers. Oil from you skin will absorb into the glass causing the glass to turn dark and shorten the lamp life.
