2005 Saab 9-3 Convertible randomly unlocks (mostly the trunk) with horn beeps. Key fob will not lock/unlock car (battery replaced). These might be separate issues.

If this only happens when the key fob is close enough for the car to "hear" the signals transmitted from it then chances are the fob is failing. The FOB will have to be taken apart, cleaned and inspected for contamination/corrosion/stress cracks.
If the car does this on it's own even when the FOB has no battery or is too far away to be heard, then the problem could be internal on the TWICE (Theft Warning Module) or a power lock switch.
Since you said the horn beeps I would say it is most likely a FOB inadvertently transmitting signals even when you're not pushing buttons. Repair or replace the fob and you should be okay.

Keyless remote will not respond to my 2004 ford expedition

try replacing the battery in it first. If that doesn't work and you have another key fob that is working correctly, cycle the key from off to key on engine off 8 times till you hear the doors lock and unlock. Then press a button on the key fob that works and then the one that does and cycle the key off and it should be re-programmed. If this doesn't work you may need to replace the key fob.

Reset tire monitor on 2009 escalade

Hopefully you still have you manual. I will tell you how to reset the HHR, I found it in my manual. Turn the key to on, press lock and unlock at the same time on your key fob. The horn will beep twice telling you that you are in program mode. The left front turn signal light will come on, press the valve core letting air out of the left front tire. The horn will beep when left front is programmed. Then the right front turn signal will come on, let air out till horn beeps. Then right rear, same procedure then left rear same procedure. When that is done horn will beep twice again saying tire program is complete. Turn key off, make sure you air all tires back up.

You might need to take it in to a dealer to have the fob synched to the car. Is this in Canada , USA or some other country? Some counties have an immobilizer that can become confused if they lose power completley ... like from changing the battery.

Sounds like a shorted key fob or intermittent BCM problem.
