This can be an issue caused by something jammed in the seat belt lock check for coins (usually). if not try buckling all the seat even without other people in car this way if you could see if the censor in one of the seats is malfunctioning. let me know so i can go from there

Is like a open door.
The problem on this car is that the the DOOR AJAR SWITCH. come danaged. and the Body cumputer don't recievethe door close signal.

SOURCE: I want to get rid of the stupid door chime.

That door chime was driving me crazy too. It turned out to be really easy to pull the power cord from the chime. If you fold down the glove box by pulling the two plugs out from the inside, you can see the chime up behind the dash just to the left of the glove box. Just pull out the cord attached by removing the clip and you are golden.

Ahhhh. Sweet relief. I have been chime free in my accent for 2 months, and it makes for a much more enjoyable car.

Enjoy!

SOURCE: How can you turn off the Hyundai Santa Fe 2007 seat belt chime

well you could cut the dinger out.. but I would not recommend doing that. Usually it makes more sense to just wear your seat belt as local laws require

SOURCE: Disabling seat belt chime in a 2007 Silverado

Unfortunately if you take this to a shop they can get into alot of trouble doing this for you. Some are controlled by the body control module and others are just simple circuits. Look at you seat belt female end and look for a harness that goes to it. If it's just 2 wires connect those two wires together to trick the system! You should always wear your seatbelt by the way.

Door chime and seat belt chime they keep dinging going down the road

Question moved from MISC
'year make model' as first three words in every question please.

There is a sensor in the bottom of the fixed clip and a connection under the seat for the belt chime and is the most likely cause of both.

Does the seat belt like flash and the chime go off if there is only a passenger strapped into the car?

HOW DO YOU DISABLE THE SEAT BELT CHIME ON A 1997 MERCUTY SABLE WA

Q: Are you wearing your seat belt? Yes? No?

A: No.
Solution: Put on your seat belt!!!!!! Save a life!!!

A: Yes.
Soultion: There has to be a fuse either under the dash or under the hood that controlls the chime.
There is a switch in the seatbelt connecter that controlls the chime. It has either failed or the wireing that carried the signal to shut the chime off has been damaged.

The seat belt chime stays on even though the seat belt is engaged

Someone has kicked the little connector under the seat loose. Check under there with a flashlight, and reseat any connectors found.
