SOURCE: Mustang GT 4.6 EVAP Canister Purge Valve Location?

You will need to remove the right front wheel & wheel well liner. The canister purge valve is behind the cover. It should have two tube going into the bottom and one on the side near the top.
You can fix it!
If this helps you out please rate me!

SOURCE: IAC Valve Location - 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The idle air control valve is located on the back of the throttle body. It has an oval electrical connector and two torx screws holding it in. Unplug the connector, remove the two screws then lightly tap the body with a soft faced mallet to loosen it from the body.
Once you have it out and prior to installing a new valve clean the seat inside the throttle body where the idle control fits. This must be very clean! Installation is in the reverse order.
To save some cash, pull the valve out and clean it with throttle body cleaner, this usually fixes the problem for quite a while.
Good luck and hope this helps.

SOURCE: crankshaft sensor located 98 jeep grnd cher 4wd 6cy

it is located at the back of the engine on top of the transmission bell housing, the plug runs over to the passenger side of the engine bay and it comes out from behind the engine, you can actually get your hand on the sensor itself from under the hood on the drivers side, and i believe its a 13mm bolt holding it in,the new sensor will have a sticker on the end of it...leave it there,it is used for correct spacing between the sensor and the flywheel, hope this helps

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited,V8 Quadra-trac which dies on the road; dash gauges drop; "no key" lite displays on dash. Restarts after cools. Two codes P 0443 and 0308 are showing? help

code p 0443 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve ---circuit malfunction====causes ---wiring--- EVAP canister purge valve ---ECM
code p0308 refers to cylinder 8 ---misfire detected ====causes ---engine mechanical fault ---wiring----ignition/ fuel system--- injector---ECT/MAF sensor---ECM
I am thinking here that it restarts , not after cooling , but after the vacuum in the fuel tank has lessened and allowed fuel to be pumped to the injectors and the fuel pressure is re-established
if that is the case then a weak injector or partially blocked injector will misfire under those conditions
I would fix the purge valve so that the tank vents properly and the rest may go away

2004 jeep grand cherokee code 442/455

OBD code P0442 Small EVAP leak detected you may need to check the EVAP canister under the vehicle and the purge valve as well check for cracks on the canister or the purge valve and check all the rubber hoses connected to them foe cracks or holes. If you find any damage parts replace them. P0455 which means a large EVAP leak is sometimes referred as the gas cap leak check your gas cap and secure it tight if you still have the code change the gas cap hope this helps after you find and fix the problems get the vehicle to a shop and they will use an OBD scan tool to clear the codes.

How to fix obd 2 PO456 on jeep grand cherokee laredo 2002

Usually this P0456 code is caused by an incorrect or faulty gas cap. Filling the fuel tank with the engine running could conceivable cause this code as well or if the cap wasn't properly tightened. Any of the following could also be the cause:
  • A small leak in any of the EVAP hoses or fuel tank hoses
  • A small leak in the purge valve or vent valve
  • The EVAP Canister may be leaking
