Drivers side seatbelt connected When truck is

Drivers side seatbelt is connected. When truck is moving, the seatbelt warning light flashes and chimes approx 12 times. Disconnecting seatbelt and reattaching it does not solve the issue. It still flashes the warning light and chimes. Eventually it does stop but not after about 5 to 10 minutes time have passed. By connecting the seatbelt BEFORE I start the truck sometimes solves the problem. However, I have a remote starter and when activated still produces the warnng and chiming even after I connected the seatbelt.

Warning chime sounds but no lights or messages visible

may happen when the system senses some weight on the passenger seat (dog, etc) or the weight switch is faulty/stuck. You can verify if this is the reason if the passenger airbag notice light shows ON.

How to stop the chime on seatbelt on 2005 dodge dakota

Are you wearing your seatbelt when it chimes? If not, wearing your seatbelt will shut the chime off. If it chimes when you have it on, the switch inside the seatbelt locking mechanism may not be functioning properly, and the mechanism may need replaced. Look at the wiring next to your seat and follow the wires that leave the locking mechanism. They travel under the seat and plug into a wiring connector near the rear of the seat. Make sure it is plugged in and check the wires for damage.

09 town & country chime ringing seatbelt always on

If it's your tire pressure monitoring system, then you may have a low tire. The tpms light in the dash will be on too. As the vehicle is moving, the tires generate heat which will increase the temperature inside the tire, which will also increase the pressure inside the tire, which will turn the tpms light off. The light only comes on when the tire is low so add air to the tires to bring them to the manufacturers recommended tire pressure on the placard on your drivers door or drivers door frame. I do not know of any tpms system that chime when a low tire situation is present. If it's actually the seatbelt causing the chime, then there should be a seatbelt light that comes on in the dash as well. The seatbelt sensor may be malfunctioning. Otherwise, the chime may be due to another issue. Check your owners manual for possible causes.

Hi have a 97 olds88 seatbelt chime will not quit.stays on with seatbelt hooked up.

The sensor in the seatbelt is definatly not working, Sounds like an expensive repair for just a chime,
as a joke I would find the chime and unhook it. But seriously you might be able to find the wiring under the seat for the seatbelt and unplug it depending on the year but after 20 minutes of research all seatbelt replacements ive found say they come without electronic sensor anyway.
Good luck and hope I helped you out some....
I tried my best!

Is there a passcode or sequence to disable the

As far as I know that seat belt warning chime and light is there for your safety and protection, it should not be bypassed in any way.
There is no by pass seqwuence or code to eliminate this safety device.
Buckle up, its the law.

I have a 1997 toyota corolla that one of the chimes (seat belt, key ignition or lights) just started dinging and won't stop until the car is turned off.

Get in the car, make sure your dome light is set to door-operation.
Close all the doors, does the dome light go out?
If so, it's not the door ajar chime. If not, one of your door pin switches is defective.
Buckle your seatbelt, does the seatbelt warning light on the dash go out?
If so, it's not the seatbelt alarm. If not, it's the seatbelt buckle receiver.
The light warning works with the key off, so it is not that since turning the car off would not stop it.
Last thing it could be is the ignition key alarm.
I have seen a few malfunction over the years.
