I need to know the location and how to get to the actuator to replace it. What to remove, glove box, etc...

I replaced the actuator but it still will not adjust hot and cold. It seems like maybe the actuator is not getting power. I pulled the HVAC fuses to reinitialize the system but still does not work. Any suggestions on next steps for diagnosis?
I think your actuators are powered by vacuum. Here's a link for troubleshooting vacuum issues on the S-10:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOH4zM0G...
The blend door is not moving and it is powered by a four wire harness. I just wondered if there is a diagnostic method to determine why it's not getting a signal.
I'm sure there is, but you would need a wiring diagram to determine which wires do what, and when they should be powered. I don't have one for your vehicle, but you can check bbbind.com. Click on Tech Info, then Wiring Diagrams, then sign in (free, and they don't put you on a email list), and select Wiring Diagrams, your year, make, and model then choose the appropriate system and diagram.

Where is a heater blended door acctur at on a 2005 Pontiac Grand am ?
SOURCE: A/C and Heater Blend Door Actuator
location is on ac and heater box under dash.Good luck big jab to fix it.
SOURCE: cold air on passenger side warm air on drivers side
Actuator motors either get a tear in the rubber or a hose is broken and not letting vacuum assist in its opening.
You can try moving the lever by hand and see if the air gets colder on the bad side.
SOURCE: vent door stuck and can't remove glove box
why can't you remove the glove box? You can get at the door from under the dash but it's a ***** to do. try lubing the vent cables unless it uses the vacuum motor, if it uses the vac. motor it will be hard to get to without the glove box being out.
Testimonial: "Thanks! I just don't know how to remove the glovebox."
SOURCE: do I have to remove the dash to get to the blend
You will have to remove the entire dashboard. Lincolns OnLine has a large database of information regarding TC's of all years. Here is a link to instructions on how to replace the BDA.
