2007 BMW 3281 owners manual - BMW Cars & Trucks

Check your owner's manual. In my 2007 BMW X3 , there is no dipstick but the oil is checked electronically on the dashboard. I think it's kind of stupidly complex, but many people don't know how to open the hood, I guess!

I have a dead battery on my 2007 bmw 318d, it has been sitting for a while on my drive. I have got into the car with the manual key, but cant get into the boot to get to the battery. Any ideas?

There should be a manual way to get into the trunk using the key. Your owners manual should have instructions.

How do I change the time on my 2007 BMW x3

The clock on the radio and on the dash are synchronized. There is an oil check button located between the odometer and speedometer. Press and hold the right button ( oil check ) for a few seconds. You will see the time flashing. Press the left button to adjust the time. You will find the instructions in your owners manual.

Search the BMW forums like Pelican Parts or DTM Power or United Bimmer Community. When I read of problems with convertible trunk lids, a common suspect is a failure in the system that won't allow the trunk to open when the roof is down.

Change the clock

Commoners open the owners manual and follow the directions. Lexus, Jag, and BMW owners expect commoners to come over and do this for them. Actually a dealer could even do this for you.

Ask a neighbour to jump start you. If you drive the car for 30mins this will charge the battery enough for e service charge

Battery dead cannot open trunk of my bmw 3281

Using another battery you could possibly try to use jump wires at the switch connector plug. That is all I can think of that you can do other than calling a tow truck to take it to a shop.
