SOURCE: 2000 ford focus no power to starter moter i can

The mechanic should check on the wires and fuse going to the starter motor and the spare parts . since when you test the starter motor and seems no problem to it ,it means that the problem is in the other spare parts connected to the starter motor .check the alternator if it is good and functioning well. The solenoid you also have to check it to be sure because it is very much connected to the starter motor .those spare parts that are worn out or destroyed , you should replace them .

Hello! The Inhibitor relay is more than likely not pulling...If the vehicle is an automatic the selector switch passes battery when in park on a yellow wire to the relay...If a standard the clutch switch passes ground...if manual, relay is called clutch interlock...located under hood...passenger side fender...Automatic...called interlock relay...drivers side fender to the right of air intake...diagram may be to small to read but I'm limited on size...Light Green wire on clutch switch supplies ground when switch is closed pulling relay...Yellow wire off gear selector switch (park) supplies battery to the inhibitor relay...Wish I knew if your vehicle was man. or auto...See if proper batt. or gnd. is present to pull relay...If proper potential is present and the relay does not pull it is defective...Send a comment...

Disarming the anti theft system in a 1996 Chrysler Concorde so I can drive my car

Disconnecting the Factory Alarm should not be done, as there are a number of components that is connected to it (Lights, Horn, Ignition, Door Locks, etc.)
It would be better if you "disabled" it
Find the LIGHT GREEN / ORANGE wire located in the harness in the Driver Kick Panel / Door Boot area.

Remove the Driver Kick Panel next to door & the connector should be in that area

2009-03-24_204525_dodd-wpfsb3viqmjpnlor3p3j4z2t-4-0.gif
Do not cut in half,
Splice in one end of the piece of wire to the LIGHT GREEN / ORANGE wire
Connect the other end of the piece of wire to Ground, to a part of vehicles frame

at this link tells disarm wire color.

My 1995 chrysler new yorker wont start. i turn key and get nothing. battery is charged and starter does not crank.

If the dash lights up, but no crank, it could be the anti-theft system, or the neutral safety switch, among other things.
Have you tried cranking it in neutral ? Do you have power at the starter post ?
Does everything else work when you turn the key on ?

Help alarm on my Chrysler Concorde 1995

This should work if it is a factory alarm, first roll the window down on the drivers side door then manually lock and shut the door, then unlock the door with the key and see if that shuts it off!

96 Impreza 2.2.....Starter engages, hear it click, wires actually heat up. Engine is free and can turn by hand, engine won't turn over when turn key

You have a crossed or grounded wire in the system. Trace the wires and make sure there isn't a bare spot that is allowing the a positive to ground out.

How to disable an alarm for a 1994 Chrysler Concorde

Hello,
This is how you go about it:
Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM is the
lt.green/orange 20 gauge
|-| negative wire in either kick panel,
at the door harness.
That's the area behind the plastic coverings
at your left leg area, or at the same spot
on the passenger side.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel. It's up to you to protect it from here
on in.

Good Luck with it.

Where is and how to change the starter on a 95' chrysler concorde

The starter is located on the left (drivers) side lower engine. You will have to jack the car up or use ramps. Remove battery neg cable.1st The starter is held in by two 15mm bolts. There are two wires that will need to be removed. One is held by a 13mm nut, the other is a push on terminal or held on by a 8mm nut. There is shield between the bellhousing and starter, take note as this goes in only one way.

I have a 1998 chrysler concorde and installed an aftermarket stereo. before installing this stereo the car cut off and wont cut back on.there is a full charge battery and lights come on but the car won't...

If no engine cranking (Turning over) then starter / battery / wiring fault. If ignition lamps work with key on and DO NOT DIM when starter is activated = faulty starter or wiring to it. If lights dim and chattering / click is heard = flat faulty battery.
