My 2006 trailblazer is making a whinning noise, it starts when I start the car and gets louder as I accelerate.

I had this problem with my 2006 Trailblazer and it was the idle tension pulley. (If you change it yourself---don't make the mistake I did----get the spacer out of the old one and put on the new one-----spacer is hard to get!) Hope that helps you.

I have a chevy trailblazer 2006 and the heat stopped workng. What would cause that?

sorry for the delayed response, chances are you have a bad blower motor,to check this you will need to locate the blower motor under the passenger side of the dash, disconnect the 2 wire elect. connector, turn the key to the run position, now with a 12 volt test light or dvom check for voltage on the red wire and good ground on the black wire with the blower speed set to hi, if you have power and ground then you need a blower motor
