If its coolant getting in to combustion chamber from a blown head gasket that is causing the white smoke the the coolant level will be going down check that for a clue to help. if its not then it is more than likeley contaminated fuel
Please remove your oil filler cap & see if there is a creamy deposit inside the cap or around the inside of the filler tube, if so unfortunately this is indicative of a blown head gasket.

Hello! The white exhaust smoke is indicative of coolant/water being mixed with the engine oil, and the white smoke is the byproduct of it being burned off. Unfortunately, this is a problem, as coolant shouldn't be mixing with oil. Possible causes are a failed head gasket, or cracked head. The first thing you can do is check the oil dipstick - you're looking for a milky brown color as opposed to a dark brown (normal) color for oil - unless you've recently had an oil change - then it will be like honey. If you don't see any discoloration - I would then look around the the bottom of the area where the valve covers are located - the valve covers sit atop the heads and if you have a "blown" head gasket - you may see evidence of water/coolant seepage. You can also take the vehicle to a mechanic, who can do a simple test using air pressure to isolate a potential gasket issue.
As for the transmission problem - it could be any number of things - first and easiest thing to check, is your transmission fluid. Make sure that you check after the vehicle has been operating for a while and is on a level surface. You're checking for a couple of things here - proper fluid level - and the color/odor of the fluid itelf. Transmission fluid should have a purple/red hue to it, and be somewhat clear; not a dark, murky look. If you smell the fluid, and it has a "burned" odor to it - you should get a fluid change done, as well as filter.
