Do you have an abs light on. The cruise control module is easy to locate. It has a cable going to the throttle body and most times runs right next to the cable front the gas pedal. It's a big block and guess it's about size a cell phone just a little thicker for the motor inside. It will be bolted to a plate or bracket and is easy to remove. Couple bolts and the cable. Might try a junkyard one.

Go to he brake light switch under dash on the brake pedal. This also controls the Overdrive. If it isn't going into overdrive, most likely the cruise control won't work either. When in overdrive and hit the brake pedal, overdrive is turned off also. If the switch is not making the OD connection, then it won't go into overdrive. Think on this my friend. It may just need adjusted if you've no brake light or the wires are disconnected at the light switch.

SOURCE: 2006 chevy trail blazer cruise contol does not work. Cant find a fuse under hood or under back seat. Help

Your owners manual should show you where the fuses are located. If you don't have an owners manual, you can go to
my.gm.com, type in your year--make--model and hopefully read your owners manual for free.
Do the brake lamps work ok?
I found these fuses, not only check fuses, check for voltage on fuse circuit, use a test light. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
Any codes for the cruise system?

1. my cruise control stopped 2. later, my brake lights stopped working 3. now more than half my fuses are showing no power to them.

Sounds like you need new fuses. Normally you'd find the fuse box under the hood of the car, under the dash on the passanger side, or under the steering wheel. The fuses should say how many amps it requires and what it controls, then replace them. But if your cruise control still isn't working after you've changed fuses, then it might be vacuum operated and need a new hose.

Cruise control problem

There are 3 places on the Rav4 where fuses can be located and checked. for the cuise control.

The back of the cruise control stacking switch has been know to fail (fall apart) and Toyota issued a TSB with replacement switch.

if it is the fuses then they most likely are related to cruise control system: Stop, Dome, Gauge and Igniton
The interior fuse box
The main engine fuse box (by brake fluid)
Cruise control ECU is under the glovebox.
Cruise control actuator is under hood (by driver side brake fluid/booster)Throttle position sensor (to detect if your foot is on gas pedal)
Cruise control switch on the clutch pedal too (if you have 5spd manual)
Brake lights are the deactivate signal for the cruise control

M y radio stopped working on my 2004 trail blazer

The 2004 Trailblazer has two fuse panels, one in the under hood and one under the middle row seats. The radio fuse is marked RADIO fuse # 41 and is a 15 amp fuse located in the rear fuse panel. To access the rear fuse panel flip the seat behind the driver to the upright position, under it you can see the fuse panel and a diagram should be on the under side of the cover.

Good luck and hope this helps.
