only comes as a whole pedal assembly. not to hard to change out though just takes a little while if its your first one

Instrument Panel (I/P) Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) storage compartment door.
3. Remove the left and right windshield garnish moldings.
4. Remove the left and right by Text-Enhance" style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(27, 146, 171); word-break: break-word; font-family: HelveticaNeue-Light, "Helvetica Neue Light", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">HVAC control assembly.
10. If replacing the I/P assembly, remove the left air outlet. Refer to Air Outlet Replacement - Instrument Panel - Left in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
11. Remove the right air outlet.
12. Remove the knee bolster trim panel.
13. Remove the knee bolster.
14. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) bezel.
15. Remove the IPC.
16. If replacing the I/P, remove the headlamp switch and retain for transfer. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement.
If removing the I/P, disconnect the headlamp switch electrical connector.
17. Remove the daytime running lamp (DRL) sensor from the I/P.


18. Remove the 3 upper I/P bolt covers located on top of the I/P.


19. Remove the 3 upper I/P nuts retaining the I/P to the bulkhead.
20. Remove the 3 upper by Text-Enhance" style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(27, 146, 171); word-break: break-word; font-family: HelveticaNeue-Light, "Helvetica Neue Light", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">HVAC duct screws retaining the duct to the I/P.


21. Remove the screw located behind the IPC.


22. Remove the 2 screws retaining the I/P compartment door latch.
23. Remove the 3 lower I/P retaining screws located near the I/P storage compartment.


24. Remove the hazard switch harness from the routing hole.
25. Remove the by Text-Enhance" style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(27, 146, 171); word-break: break-word; font-family: HelveticaNeue-Light, "Helvetica Neue Light", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">digital radio receiver.
26. Remove the instrument panel module (IPM).


27. Remove the 2 screws located in the IPM opening.


28. Remove the screw from the I/P end cap.


29. Pull the I/P compartment folding panel (1) down and rearward to reveal the screw.
30. Reach through the I/P storage compartment opening and remove the screw retaining the I/P carrier to the I/P structure.


31. If equipped, disconnect the accessory power outlet electrical connectors.
32. Grasp the lower center edge of the I/P and pull rearward in order to release the 2 retaining clips.


33. Grasp the lower right edge of the I/P and pull rearward in order to release the retaining clip.
34. Pull the I/P partially away from the I/P structure.


35. Reach through the IPM opening and remove the I/P wiring harness clips (1) from the I/P.


36. Reach through the center stack opening and remove the I/P wiring harness clips (1) from the HVAC vent.


37. Reach through the IPC opening and remove the I/P wiring harness clips (1) from the I/P.


38. Reach through the left side of the IPC opening and remove the I/P wiring harness clips (1) from the I/P.
39. With the aid of an assistant, carefully remove the I/P from the by Text-Enhance" style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(27, 146, 171); word-break: break-word; font-family: HelveticaNeue-Light, "Helvetica Neue Light", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">vehicle.

Installation Procedure


1. With the aid of an assistant, partially install the I/P to the I/P structure.
2. Reach through the left side of the IPC opening and install the I/P wiring harness clips (1) to the I/P.


3. Reach through the IPC opening and install the I/P wiring harness clips (1) to the I/P.


4. Reach through the center stack opening and install the I/P wiring harness clips (1) to the HVAC vent.


5. Reach through the IPM opening and install the I/P wiring harness clips (1) to the I/P.
6. Ensure all the wire harness and electrical connectors are not pinched between the I/P and I/P structure.
7. Connect the electrical connectors to the power outlets.


8. Grasp the lower center edge of the I/P and seat the 2 retaining clips.


9. Grasp the lower right edge of the I/P and seat the retaining clip.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.


10. Install the 3 upper HVAC duct screws retaining the duct to the I/P.

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

11. Install the 3 upper nuts retaining the I/P to the bulkhead.

Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).


12. Pull the I/P compartment folding panel (1) down and rearward to reveal the screw installation area.
13. Reach through the I/P storage compartment opening and install the screw retaining the I/P carrier to the I/P structure.

Tighten the screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).


14. Install the 2 screws located in the IPM opening.

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).


15. Install the end cap screw.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).


16. Install the hazard switch harness through the routing hole.


17. Install the 2 screws retaining the I/P compartment door latch.

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

18. Install the 3 lower I/P retaining screws located near the I/P storage compartment.

Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).


19. Install the screw located behind the IPC.

Tighten the screw to 9 N.m (80 lb in).


20. Install the 3 upper I/P bolt covers located on top of the I/P.
21. Install the DRL sensor to the I/P.
22. If replacing the I/P, install the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement.
If reinstalling the original I/P, connect the headlamp switch electrical connector.
23. Install the left air outlet.
24. Install the IPC.
25. Install the IPC bezel.
26. Install the knee bolster.
27. Install the knee bolster trim panel.
28. Install the IPM.
29. Install the digital radio receiver.
30. Install the right air outlet.
31. Install the HVAC control assembly.
32. Install the radio.
33. Install the accessory trim panel.
34. Install the I/P storage compartment door.
35. Install the left and right windshield garnish moldings.
36. Install the left and right hinge pillar trim panels.
37. Install the left and right front door sill plates.
38. Install the lower center I/P extension.
39. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in Restraint Systems.

2006 Chrysler Pacifica - can cooling fan blades be tightened to stop wobble?

I would say that the bearing has failed and the unit should be replaced . If you have a viscous fan hub the problem may be there or if you have the fan directly on the water pump I would be checking the pump bearing for failure

Need a digram of taking a dashboard out of a 2005 impala

  • Turn the engine of the Impala off and open its hood. Use a socket wrench to remove the negative cable from the battery.
  • Remove the four screws securing the driver's side kick panel, using a Phillips screwdriver. Use a slotted screwdriver to pry out the kick panel. Remove the passenger's side kick panel the same way.

  • Remove the metal plate from the driver's side of the vehicle under the Steering wheel by detaching its two securing bolts with a socket wrench. Pull the plate off to reveal three electrical connections. Unplug the three connections.
Glove Compartment
  • 4 Open the glove compartment and empty its contents.
  • 5 Remove the two screws at the back of the glove compartment.
  • 6 Pull the glove compartment off of the dashboard.
Center Dash Panel
  • 7 Remove the two screws securing the radio and the two screws securing the A/C unit with a Phillips screwdriver.
  • 8 Remove the four corner screws of the center dash panel faceplate with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the faceplate off.
  • 9 Use a slotted screwdriver to pull the radio and A/C unit toward you.
  • 10 Reach behind the two devices and disconnect their connections. Pull them out of the vehicle.
Dashboard
  • 11 Remove the two screws underneath the steering wheel, using a Phillips screwdriver.
  • 12 Remove the two screws on the lower right side of the dashboard, using a Phillips screwdriver.
  • 13 Remove the 10 mm bolt from both side panels with a socket wrench.
  • 14 Remove the defroster grille by pulling it out. Remove the four screws along the top of the dash near the windshield.
  • 15 Pull the dashboard off the Impala and detach the two electrical connections. Lift up the dashboard and remove it from the vehicle.

Need to change heater coil need a diagram to do so

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Remove the instrument panel storage compartment.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as necessary.
  4. Remove the center floor air distribution duct.
  5. Remove the hinge pillar trim panels.
  6. Remove the blower motor cover.
  7. Remove the blower motor.
  8. Remove the steering column.
  9. Roll back the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  10. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir.
  11. Remove the heater hoses.
  12. While holding the heater case to the cowl, remove the screw on the interior side of the cowl, near the evaporator pipe, if equipped.
    1. On the engine side of the cowl, remove the 4 screws that hold the heater case to the cowl.
    2. On the engine side of the cowl, remove the 2 nuts that hold the heater case to the cowl.
    3. Remove the heater case. Ask an assistant for help, if necessary.
    4. Remove the 7 screws that hold the heater cover to the heater case.
    5. Remove the heater cover.
    6. Remove the heater core from the retainer.
    7. Installing
      1. Install the heater core into the retainer.
      2. Install the 7 screws that hold the heater cover to the heater case. Replace the seals.
      3. Install the heater cover. Verify that the heater cover is properly sealed.
      4. Install the heater case. If necessary, ask an assistant for help.
      5. On the engine side of the cowl, install the nuts that hold the heater case to the cowl.
      6. On the engine side of the cowl, install the 4 screws that hold the heater case to the cowl.
        1. On the interior side of the cowl, install the screw.
        NOTE : Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

        1. Tighten the following fasteners:
        Tighten
        • Tighten the screws on the engine side of the cowl to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in) .
        • Tighten the two nuts to 2.8 N.m (25 lb in) .
        • Tighten the screw on the interior side of the cowl to 11 N.m (97 lb in) .
        1. Install the heater hoses.
        2. Install the coolant recovery reservoir.
        3. Roll forward the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
        4. Install the steering column.
        5. Install the blower motor.
        6. Install the blower motor cover.
        7. Install the hinge pillar trim panels.
        8. Install the center floor air distribution duct.
        9. Connect the electrical connectors, as necessary.
        10. Install the instrument panel storage compartment.
        11. Add the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System
        12. Inspect the system for leaks.

My fans on my 2001 chevy impala aren't coming on.

You will need to check the integrity of the circuit first, and if there are no problems with the wiring, relay, etc., you will then need to test the coolant fan motor itself.

Where is the oil filter 07 Impala

The oil filter on the 2008 Chevy Impala 3.5 V6 is located to the front center of the engine and recessed underneath and slightly to the right (passenger) side just behind the front frame crossmember.
