My 2003 Chevy Venture check engine light flashes and I lose power when making a turn or gassing it quickly.

I went to the dealer to check on the price for the idle pulley and they said that was waht the problem was. The quote from them was $99 for Labor and $38 for the pulley..Solution $18.00 at the parts store and 20 min from my hubby and it is fixed. The only problem with the pulley form the auto parts is that the original washer won't fit in the hole so we had to but a seperate washer. Runs great now I just have to find a solution to the gas gauge and fuel sensor.

it could be either,main bearings or rod bearings,you seem to have a handle on it,now all we can do is take bets when the big knock happens!

When i had this issue, it was my gas cap not being on properly... took 3 days for it to reset itself.
