SOURCE: how do i remove the blower motor resistor on my 97

it comes in from the fire wall on the passenger side under the hood.it will be held in with 2 rivets the new on should just snap in.pry the old one out ,it may break don't worry because the new one does not require any rivets. there should be 5 or 4 wires going to it!

SOURCE: blower motor not working at all. 2003 ram

the resitor operates ground, if theres no power then its a bad fuse under the hood in the power fusebox, or #10 fuse inside the leftside of dash, power for the blower comes from the ignition switch, double check all fuses,if you had no ground to blower then i would say the resistor, make sure you have a good ground on the test light, then check for power with key on again, heres a wiring diagram to help you, good luck.fd18d13.gif

SOURCE: location of blower motor relay

better late than never....
The blower relay is one of two identical relays next to the clutch pedal above the fuse panel. I just had to replace mine (1996 Protege DX). I switched the two relays and now the blower works fine. Not sure what the other relay was for... but the car doesn't seem to miss it yet! The relays have H270 panted on the side of the black plastic covers. You have to pull down hard to get the relay off the clip it is fastened to, then unplug the four prong connector. Good luck finding one. The books all call for a 6 prong relay. I am going to find one in a junk yard rather than calling Mazda. I hope this helps... I searched all over the internet and couldn't find any answers so I figured I better post mine here...

SOURCE: 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, blower motor stopped working

Hi, On the passenger side, up under the dash is your blower motor. Have the key on and the fan switch on and bump the motor with you hand. It is the unit with the quick disconnect wire going to it on the right side closet to the wheel well.I took mine out today and cleaned it with spray cleaner for electric motors (NON-FLAMMABLE) and put it back in. There are only three 8 mm bolts holding it in place. I have a new one on order from PEPBOYS($51.00)but for now it's working just fine!

SOURCE: 2006 Dodge Ram The blower motor will not blow. No

Yes, there is a blower motor relay located in the PDC box under the hood. It is a black box with a removable cover, and the underside of the cover will show the correct relay location.

Power windows & blower motor quit working same time / 1991 dodge ram d150

Check the power window circuit breaker. Does it get hot to the touch? If so, it may trip till it cools off. Check for voltage at circuit breaker, probably goes hot with the key on. It gets voltage from ignition switch. Just to add, the fuse for the blower motor also gets ignition feed, goes hot with the key on. Whether everything is related, I don't know?

Heater does not work

Check heater fuse.
If fuse good - could be a failure of the blower fan motor or blower control switch.
If fuse bad - bad blower fan motor could have blown the fuse.
DO: check fuse, then blower motor.
Pricing: new blower motor: Duralast PM270 $43.99
new heater control switch: Duralast SW229 $46.99 (without
A/C).
I'd expect your blower resistor to be good - when they fail, the blower only will work on HIGH setting.

How to change blower motor in a 2004 dodge ram 1500, my blower quit working & i tested the blower & it works & a friend told me that the switch is bad .

Good Evening. Unfortunately it could be the switch, or it could just be the blower motor resistor, which is where i would look for power coming out of to the blower motor first and foremost. I hope this helps your situation, and if you have aany jmore questions please feel free to ask.

Most likely culprit is the blower control module/ resistor. It is the part that controls the blower motor speeds.

Remove dash to get to sensore for blower on 2002 dodge ram 1500 the blower only works on high

If the blower motor is only running on high the problem is the blower motor resistor. location for resistor is behind the glove box. Remove all items in glove box. remove glove box from dash and to the left of the blower motor you will see a electrical plug, remove the plug and the resistor mounting bolts. remove the resistor and replace it with new resistor. reinstall all items as you have taken them off. hope this will help you.
