Press and hold any button on your remote within 20 seconds of the eighth turn. Hold the button for as long as 20 seconds until the locks automatically click and then release. Remove your key from the ignition to end the resetting process.

2. if lost said guide, it is free from Lincoln or google it free.
3. the car came new with 3 working keys, lost all? ask wife?
4. all you can do with all keys lost (both) is call a locksmith that can do cars, and ask. 3rd key is valet
5. or call autorepair shops for a cure.
6. or the dealer, in some case only they can and #1 book says those exact words no kidding.

they only way to do it yourself is a master key this key slots in and you wiggle it in and out while turning the ignition, only locksmiths have this key so it may be in your best interest to have it done for you. as if you try to do it you could end up having to replace the hole steering column.

The spark plugs in the v6 can become an involved job as the upper intake manifold. The LS uses a Coil on Plug (COP) ignition system, meaning that the spark plugs are located under the ignition coil

it does have a chip, most bypass units require you to have atleast one key that is programmed. You need 2 keys and they have to be programmed.

Take vin number and proof of ownership to your local dealer. Once they can verify that the car is really yours they will cut you a new key.
