SOURCE: my car makes a scrapping and or grinding noise when driving and braking like i'm dragging something

Just by the information you put, I would say its your brakes. They are most likely worn out past the minimum wear (3mm). If its whenever you drive maybe you are dragging something? Your exhaust system supports may have failed, maybe something stuck in there and so you are dragging it along. Take a look underneath your car.

If the noise only happens when you brake then its gotta be a problem with your brakes. Sometimes rocks get stuck in between brake pads and rotors, this makes a very annoying squeeling sound until the rock comes loose and falls out. Another possibility, like I said earlier, is that your brake pads have worn out and is now metal on metal. I recommend you go to a shop and get your brakes checked. Brakes are a very important part of your vehicle, safety especially, so I don't recommend doing it yourself unless you know what you are doing.

Hope this helps.
Thanks

:)

SOURCE: Brakes are making loud grinding noise when slowing down to stop or on an incline

Ok, it could be a few things, 1. bad break caliper. 2. if you have ceramic breaks, it could be a cracked brake pad, and if they are not ceramic they can still be cracked. 3. if you drive a lot then it could be that you need new breaks again.. 4. also have your back breaks checked along with the front ones..

SOURCE: My car is making a very loud growling noise when I

you need new brake pads, rotors, and possibly calipers!!
if a caliper is frozen or sticky it will put continuous pressure on the inner brake pad, therefore causing premature wear of the pad!1 and then of course when then pad gets down to metal, you are metal to metal which will destroy your rotor!!

Front end has a noise that sounds like a helicopter, or a tire out of round. the tires are good

sounds like a wheel bearing to me. That would make a really loud noise if you jack the car up, and turn that wheel it should make the noise you hearing. Make sure you have brake pads and the rotors are not warn.

My car is making a scraping noise on the right front when I apply brakes. Can someone tell me what's going on ??

most probly your brake pads are worn out and the noise you hear is them scraping against the rotor which also may need to be relaced too ,have it checked out by a shop,or a friend who works on cars and save some money.

My 95 toyota corolla makes grinding scraping noise when going uphill. It's coming from the right front of the car. Almost sounds like it's coming from the breaks or transmission. A mechanic thinks it could...

Bad motor mounts will not usually cause the kind of noise you describe they will cause more vibration to be felt at all times.

Sometimes the brake rotor dust cover plate can rub against the rotor and make a grinding/scraping sound. Raise the car, remove the wheel, and check the clearance between the dust cover and the rotor.

If your shocks/struts are bad the tire could be rubbing against the strut. Check the strut.

Scraping sound?

Apparently most dealers will tell you that this sound is from rust building up on the brake rotors because you missed your regular maintenance.

When pressing on the break a loud grinding noise comes from beneath the car

Your brake pads are shot, and the noise you hear is the metal of the caliper grinding on the rotor. If this just started happening, you can probably save the rotor and just buy pads. If the rotor's surface is gouged or scraped badly, you'll need new rotors too. Don't drive the car unless you are driving it to a shop to have the brake work done - it's very dangerous as you have greatly diminished stopping power.

Oh, and if they try to tell you that you need new calipers too, trust me - you don't. When the calipers grind on the rotor, the rotor takes the damage. Pay for new rotors, new pads, and I'd have them do a full flush and fill of the brake fluid too (never hurts to do this).
