Need to find fuel filter on a2006 equinox - 2006 Chevrolet Equinox

This make, year and model has no inline fuel filter, the only fuel filtering is done at the inlet to the electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank, it never needs to be serviced unless the fuel pump is replaced.

Hi there is no fuel filter on the 2012 Chevrolet equinox , the only filtration is in the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump assembly and is not serviced

The fuel filter on this model is not serviceable. There is a small sock filter inside the gas tank.

the piping has either corroded or split

The fuel filter is in the primary fuel tank.There is no external filter on these.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Its the same for both types of Equinox.
The short story: the fuel filter is an integral part of the fuel pump, and 06 Equinox has 2 fuel pumps (each presumably with its own filter), due to the odd shape of its fuel tank.
Note: the last time I thought I had a car whose owner thought it was a fuel pump/fuel strainer/fuel filter promplem turned out to have a bad spark plug wire - it caused identical symptoms (engine missing alot, especially going uphill).

There is not an external fuel filter. The fuel filter is in the gas tank. You might as well do them both.
