SOURCE: how to change the fuel filter on my volvo s40 2004
Hello francecslouis: My name is Roger and I will answer your question. The fuel filter is located under the vehicle. Just in front of the right rear wheel. Raise the vehicle for clearance. Support the car in case the car should slip and fall. Look just in front of the axle and you will see a in-line filter. If you are not sure what it looks like purchase the new one and compare to the old one. Please rate the answer you received. this way we know you received the correct information. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

This is a common issue particularly with vehicles that have had some neglect to the oil change routine. The VVT solenoid on the top of the valve cover gets clogged with thickened or sludged oil.
Replace the VVT solenoid and gasket with a new unit and clear the codes.
SOURCE: Radio code for volvo s40
If the display says "Off" the radio is locked from incorrect code input.
You need to leave the key in the accessory position with the radio on (display reads 'Off') for about two hours.
After that it should ask for he code again. You have three tries before it locks again.
Some radios are different, but typically you use the knob to adjust the numbers, push the knob in to move to the next number
