SOURCE: No electric windows, mirrors, or door locks

Look in the Engine bay fuse box at Fuse #12 this should be for the power windows. If this checks out OK, it could be a fault with a bad ground wire in driver's side door harness. You should be able to pry the runbber boot from the drivers door, and check the larger Black wire that goes through it. These have been known to break after a few years use. If it is the cable, cut neatly, strip the ends anu use a crimp splice. Hope this is a quick and easy fix for you. If it helps you solve the problem, Please take a moment to rate as Fixya! Thanks.

SOURCE: power door locks and drivers window have failed on 2004 colorado

I had the same problem to the T. I look online for all the same solutions and I can only tell you what worked for me. Actually what I think worked, HAHA! I went out to my truck and unplugged both battery terminals from battery and placed them together to supposedly reset the electrical system, "so I was told." After this for about 20 min or so, I went back out and in this order; re-installed positive terminal followed by negative terminal to battery. After this I checked locks and windows and surprise they worked. I've seen a lot of people say that all they did was wait and they worked later, so maybe it was that and not what I did, but who cares, they work now. Give it a shot and if it works for you, GREAT let me know, I HATE CHEVY CAUSE OF THIS......they wanted me to pay for a stupid diagnostic before they would help me........well screw you I fixed myself. SOURCE: door lock on 2005 -3500 truck

Yes Admin,
This is what I found out. The problem was with the power lock portion of the part (siezed). It is also sealed and unserviceable. The good news is that the part was in stock at the dealer for around 65.00. Actually pretty amazing considering how many parts there are to the device. After disassembling the door three times (once to diagnose, once to take apart and disable the power lock function, and one last time to swap out mechanism) I became fairly quick at it. If you have this problem, just go buy the part and don't mess around. Oh yeah-you'll need a torx bit to get started.....

2005 Nissan Titan. How to fix problem with my Titan's windows and doors lock switches. Both driver's side and passengers don't work? Previous owner has the door panel on driver's side.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

It may be a break in the wiring harness that goes from the drivers door switches through from the door to the door pillar. If they break in the harness through stress, nothing works. You need a good auto electrician with a test meter and the ability to read wiring diagrams. If the panel is off, the hardest work is done.

I have a 2004 Titan 2 WD Crew cab. The drivers window has stopped working and the passengers window will roll down but may not roll back up.

have you tried both the switches on pass side as well as the drivers. does the pass side work but not the drivers? do you like to drive and drink coffee if so your spilling coffee on the switches and coffee makes a film on the electric contacts and makes em not work. you need to remove the switch cluster and pop the buttons off and clean it , you tube it, or the drivers door wires from the door to the car frame are broken you will see a lumpy looking rubber boot from the door to the car when the door is open. if you carefully cut the boot open you might find broken wires

Driver's electric door lock will not lock or unlock driver's door. All the rest of the doors, lock or unlock. Driver's door still makes the noise of the motor lock.

The acuator rod may have come disconnected from the lock cylinder, you would need to remove the door panel to look and see.

Electric front door locks on 2005 Nissan Maxima not working

this should be known issue at your nissan dealership, was a recall in most countries to replace all 4 door lock actuators. if the vehicle is out of warranty this may not apply.
The acuators are a sealed design and cannot be repaired, can only be replaced with new ones,

2000 Ford Focus electric locks/acuator failure recurring problem

I would follow their recommendation as I had the same problem with my car. They unhooked the power to that door and it was fine. The problem was a short in the wiring in the door that was causing the problem. So maybe get them to check the wiring in the door as well.
