I think you could use this manual method instead.. My nephew used it to repair my
car and it's perfectly fine now. Here's the website he bought it from. www.reliable-store.com
SOURCE: 1994 buick lesabre fuel pump-
when you turn the key in run position, [not start] you should hear the pump hum for a few seconds. it's located in the gas tank.

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.
SOURCE: 2000 buick lesabre ran out of gas
Electric fuel pumps are known for burning out if you run them out of gas, pull the fuel line at the trottle-body, have someone turn the key on and see if you get fuel-flow, you may also check the fuel pump fuse and relay to make sure they are good.

It NEVER was the camshaft sensor! Unless, you've removed the engine lately, which I doubt.
RUN to Advance Auto Parts and buy a can of "SeaFoam" and add to your gas tank per instructions...drive at least 100 miles and the problem should go away...IF it doesn't you'll have to replace the O2 sensors in the exhaust system...Any good mechanic should be able to do this for much less $$ than the dealership DO NOT go to the dealer for repairs!
Good Luck
