I suggest you get one of those manuals people get nowadays to do it yourself.. My nephew use it to repair my car and it's totally repaired now. Here's the website he bought it from.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

Where is gauge fuse located?

The cluster has bulbs in the back depending on the make and year of vehicle. Solder welds can break over time also.

Tailgate on a 2002 trailblazer will not open. unlock button wont let it open. what fuse do I need to check or do I open from inside?

  • There was a Technical Service Bulletin concerning this.

  • Bulletin No.: 03-08-52-002
  • Date: March 27, 2003

  • Technical - Subject:
  • Remote Keyless Entry Inoperative (Reprogram Liftgate Module)
  • Models:
  • 2002-2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer EXT
  • 2002-2003 GMC Envoy, Envoy XL
  • 2002-2003 Oldsmobile Bravada
  • Condition
  • Some customers may comment that the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) is inoperative at times.

  • Cause
  • An anomaly has been identified with the software in the Liftgate Module (RKE functions). The Liftgate Module software is affected when the temperature is approximately 40°C (104°F).

  • Correction
  • Using normal SPS reprogramming procedures, reprogram the LGM Liftgate module. The information was released on TIS version 2.75 or newer broadcast in March 2003.

  • There is a fuse block under the rear seat on the drivers side. Fuse # 3 and # ^ are the ones you will check for the Lift Gate.
  • Often the problem can be in the harness going to the module.
  • Sometimes the module needs replaced and then reprogrammed.
  • Here is a copy of your owners manual for free http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/owners-manual/chevrolet/2002-Chevrolet-TrailBlazer.pdf
