SOURCE: Toyota Land Cruiser check timimg Belt
Hi,
I am assuming that you have a series 80 diesel engine and that it has run for about 100,000 kms hence the warning light and the changing of the timing belt. Based on the instructions of its repair manual you need to "remove the
grommet off from the speedometer and turn off the lamp by pushing the
warning light reset switch, then replace the grommet." Alternately, you can try to reset the entire computer of the vehicle by removing the battery cables for a couple of minutes. Pls note that some car radios/head units would revert to security default (ask for a code) when power is completely removed.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.

SOURCE: Toyota Land Cruiser fuel tank warning light on
Hi There. Have the exact same problem on my 95mod petrol with the sub fuel tank not emptying. think it may be the relay but cant find it. The earlier models have the relay in the rear wheel well, but ours are set up differently. had the whole car to pieces but still cant find it. Was wondering if you had any luck with yours and could enlighten me. Thanks [email protected]

You can connect the - or negative to the negative on the battery or whereever it will reach on the engine or body. The engine and battery are preferable. Just be sure it makes good contact, bare shiny metal is best, a quick rub with a file or sandpaper before you hook up is a good idea. Watch the guage on the charger as youwiggle the charger cables to see if it moves higher. If it does, clean up your contact points. Hope this helps.

Probably need to call a Dealer and make an apppointment. They may need to get VIN number from the card to get a code for you. They may want to see title, or insurance card, or registration, and driver's license.
