I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. Today ALL of my warning lights came on, airbag trac off batt service engine etc.then all my gauges stopped working speedometer rpm hot cold gas gauge My radio stopped

check the engine to body ground strap. located rear top of engine screwed to firewall Remove,clean, and resecure.

If by "shuts off" you mean goes all the way to the cold or no temp, then sounds like the thermostat is open and needs to be replaced. Could also be the temperature sensor and you are losing the signal. I would check to see the actual temperature of the engine to know the difference.

You need to check your main fuses under the hood first and then check them under the driver side dash board.

Go to the fuse box and change the fuse for "Gauges". I think this might solve the problem.
