SOURCE: Chevy Cavalier 2001 turn signal blinks fast
If new bulbs don't work, it is probably the harness that holds the bulb. I had to replace both on my car after fighting with the problem for over a year and not knowing.
SOURCE: TURN SIGNAL BLINKS TO FAST RIGHT
The blinker usually blinks fast when a turn signal light is burnt or not contacting. Check the signal bulbs to see if they are contacting or in good condition. If that is not it. Try replacing the blinker under the dash.
SOURCE: front driver side turn signal light doesn't flash
replace flasher......usually located in fuse block area...listen in this area....select passenger side ...then select driver side...you can hear flasher clicking...you have seperate flashers for each...FLASHERS are small cubes plugged into fuse block....probable bad driverside flasher

You need to check your left side turn/park lamp bulbs for correct part # & installation.If that checks out you deffinetely have a ground problem.When you have other lights blinking with you turn signals you have either a bulb incorrect or a bad/poor ground.If bulbs check out check your forward lamp harness ground.Hope this helps

The turn signal indicator inside the car will flash fast because the front flasher doesn't turn on. That's how the flasher unit does or work. Fix the front flasher(blinkers) lights and you will fix your problem.(Could be the bulb, the ground wire problem or wires from the bulbs to inside the car or Flasher lights system).The Flasher unit sense a difference in resistance or lower than it should be and that makes the indicator flash faster.(Ohms theory) E=RxI
E=Voltage=V
R=Resitance(ohms)
I=Intensity (amps)
For the sunload sensor as you think. There is a problem with your knowledge.
1. Sunload sensor is for the A/C systems
2. The Dark/light sensor on the front dash is for exterior lights to come on or off(Daytime running lights).
Explaining: Exterior lights (Daytime runnings lights) Doesn't work in the same manner to every cars or model. Yours should dim the front headlights when the daytime/sensor sense the exterior brightness of light and full intensity of the headlights in dark/sense by the sensor
Hope it helps.
