Did you guys flush the coolant system and make sure there wasnt any corosine in the radiator, plus on some of those models you have to make sure that all of the air bubbles are out of the system or it get almost like vapor locked and the water wont flow throught the system,, also check the heater core try by passing it and running the motor you might have a plugged heater core also ,,,

1994 Toyota Previa is overheating

- Check the radiator cap for proper sealing.
- Blow air from outside and inside of the radiator to clean the fine dust accumulated in the feathers and fins.
- Check the radiator for clogged inside. Clean the radiator after disassembling it.
- Check the water pump belt for looseness or wear.
- Check the thermostat valve.
- Check the cylinder head gasket or re-torque the cylinder head bolts.

1994 toyota pickup 2.4 boiling the water

Check for bubbles in the radiator when the engine is running,if bubbles are evident then head/head gasket is at fault. Also could blocked 8mm bypass hose from thermostat area.( also check the basic like thermostat operation and radiator for both internal and external blockage.

My 1990 toyota pickup 4x4 is over heating and i've changed the thermostat and checked the water pump. i'm not sure what else to check

most likely you have either a plugged radiator or blown head gasket.one way to check if its a head heating than you know its a head gasket. But when u reove the thermostat open the radiator cap before you run.after you remove the cap astart the vehicle and check for good circulation in radiator.Hope this helps.

Over heating

Sounds like a bad water pump. If there's no white smoke coming from the exhaust (head gasket) and the radiator and thermostat are good, either the belts are slipping or the waterpump is on it's way out.

1994 Toyota Spacia

check to see if the lower radiator hose is collapsing, if not then take the fan belt off and check for slop in the water pump. Somethimes the pump can go bad and not leak. let me know if this works out for you.
