Look on the inside of the cover for the fuse block. There should be a printed diagram of the fuse location and function.

SOURCE: how do you change the right front headlight bulb on a kia sedona

Remove the headlight assembly. Just remove the 3 bolts with a 10 mm socket and pull it out so you can disconect the wire harness. After that pull the whole assembly out and unscrew the bulb cover. The bulb is held in with a spring clip.

My kia sedona minivan keeps blowing the fuse to the a/c compressor. Does this mean that I have a bad compressor or is there a less expensive esier fix? Any ideas?

SOURCE: please tell me how to

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no easy way - the upper intake (surge tank) has to come off in order to access the plug wires and plugs.

Removal

1. Detach the P.C.V. hose and brake booster vacuum hose.
2. Disconnect the connecting part of vacuum hose.

3. Remove the surge tank stay.

4. After reducing the pressure of fuel pipe line to prevent fuel overflow, disconnect the connecting part of the high pressure hose.

5. Remove the surge tank stay.

Once this is off, then remove ignition coils and spark plug wires. At that point, you can access and remove the spark plugs:

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF SPARK PLUG CABLE

Improper arrangement of spark plug cables will induce flashover between the cables, causing misfiring and surging at acceleration in high-speed operations.

Disconnect the spark plug cable from the spark plug. Pull on the spark plug cable boot when removing the spark plug cable, not the cable, as it may be damaged.
2. Using the spark plug wrench, remove all of the spark plugs from the cylinder head.Take care not to allow contaminants to enter through the spark plug holes.

3. Check spark plugs for the following:

(1) Broken insulator

(2) Worn electrode

(3) Carbon deposits

(4) Damaged or broken gasket

(5) Condition of the porcelain insulator at the tip of the spark plug

4. Check the spark plug gap using a wire gap gauge, and adjust if necessary.
Standard valueSpark plug gap : 1.0 - 1.1 mm (0.039 - 0.043 in.)

5. Re-insert the spark plug and tighten to the specified torque. If it is overtorqued, damage to the threaded portion of cylinder head may result.
Tightening torqueSpark plug : 20 - 30 N·m (200 - 300 kg·cm, 15-22 lb·ft)

2006/07 Kia Sedona 2.9 CDI auto diesel. All 4 wheels get hot after 5 miles. I have been into the main dealership, still doing the same. Help.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

It is an automatic? Do you drive STRICTLY with one foot? Left foot firmly rested on the floor. I saw a lady once that drove with right foot on the accelerator and left foot on the brake. It sounds like your brakes are lightly on all the time. If the vehicle is in Neutral, can you push it to move it? If not the brakes are binding and you need to find out why?

Make sure the two Factory Recalls have been done?

It appears to be a known issue.

I have a 2008 Kia Sedona EX. I was keying the windshield wipers as needed while driving in light rain and they stopped working between one use and the next. They do not work on any setting.

The wiper relay fuse will be under the hood. It should be a 30amp fuse. This may or may not be your problem but would be the first place to look.

2005 Kia Sedona, central locking intermittently won't work, have to deactivate alarm manually also interior lights don't work, nor do the tail lights or the lights on the dashboard panel.

If things work normally part of the time it's definitely not a fuse. They are either good or bad. Your problem may be a faulty relay though. They have a small electromagnet in the and the parts internally can warp with heat and work intermittently. look in your owners manual for the location of the fuse relay box, it's probably under the hood in the engine compartment. Inside the lid to the box will be the layout of the relays telling you which does what. Sometimes its printed by the relays on the base they plug into. Occasionally the top of the relay may be discolored from overheating. They are usually a white opaque plastic and they can turn yellow or brown. In your case I'd look for an ID that may read CNTL LOCK, or ALARM. They usually operate more than one function that are inter-related. If you live in a rural and have chipmonks (ground squirrels) they can get into the wiring which they chew up and wreck havoc on your cars electric system. It seems that wiring manufacturers sometimes use peanut out in the process of coating wires in plastic. Smart, huh? I've had that problem. Good luck I hope this helps. BTW the relays aren't expensive, but a dealer won't tell you that.
