SOURCE: Torque spec for flywheel bolt: Isuzu 2.5 diesel engine
normally 110 nueton metres. use nut lock and once you have torqued you will feel if you have to tighten it a bit more.
SOURCE: Bolt torque specs for flywheel, pressure plate,
1.Flywheel - 61 to 69 Foot Pounds
2.Pressure Plate - 25 to 33 Foot Pounds
3.Bell Housing - No specs found. I would say 25 to 35 foot pounds should be sufficient.
Bolts clean on ->flywheel to crank, ->pressure plate to flywheel, and ->bell housing to back of engine, I would use TWO drops of Loctite Red threadlocker, on ALL of these bolts.
Hope you have an alignment tool for your clutch disk when you install it. Auto parts stores sell the plastic one's cheap! Saves a LOT of headaches!
Tighten the pressure plate EVENLY! Snug the bolts down until they just TOUCH, then go in a criss-cross pattern when tightening. Do the tightening in incremental stages! You turn one bolt one thread, you go across to the opposite side, and turn that bolt one thread. Keep criss-crossing so the pressure plate goes down EVENLY. (YES, it's a pain in the keister!)
If NOT, you'll have a warped pressure plate, and it will be junk!
Thanks for letting me say that, I feel better.

Okay, the main bearing caps only have 10 bolts, i think your looking for the connecting rod caps, they have 16 bolts, i will list them both, theres a tightening sequnce for the main bearing caps, these are the caps that hold the crankshaft to the engine block, the connecting rod caps hold the pistons to the crank and they have 16 nuts,For a 2004 mazda 6 with the 3.0 engine the torque specs are as follows.
Connecting rod bolts step 1) 19.2 - 23.6 ft lbs.
step 2) tighten an additional 80 - 100 degrees
Main bearing caps step 1) 32.5 - 33.9 ft. lbs.
step 2) tighten an additional 175 -185 degrees.
heres a diagram for main caps to tighten in order.
hope this is helpful.

well according to my alldata book its 30nm then slacken 90? and tighten again 90? ,---Well in all honesty i cannot see this being done on a assembly line at three engines a minute where they are pulled down at once with one big air driven socket machine so here what i would do and its old school in fact it may even be older than me which i doubt ,anyway all jokes aside i would pull down first with a rachet in sequence and this invoilves the first bolt in the middle then the one above it then do one each side alternativly easy so you start in the middle and work your way out left then right left then right and so on ,after pulling them down with a rachet this will apply about 30/35lbs ,then use the breaker bar and pull them down again till i feel it stretch the bolts but as your not me you do as i say not as i do ,so set torque wrench to 55lbs and pull them down in order again ,then coffee break and thats compulsory now up the setting to 65lbs and pull them down again and that should do you ,you should not need to pull them down after so many miles this is not a 1959 morris a series engine but a VW state of the art piece of kit
