SOURCE: How do I turn on my traction control on a 2013 Sante Fe Sport 2.4L?

The traction control if equipped should always be on unless you deactivate it with the traction off button. If it is deactivated, a light will illuminate on the dash informing you the system is disabled.

How to turn off traction control on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Alexandre, check in your owners manual for small off button on the shifter under the large engage button. If you do not want traction control on in your vehicle check your manual for traction control fuse location and remove fuse. I can not say this is a wise thing to do, because your traction control is a safety feature for your vehicle. ABS braking system will be lost if you pull the fuse also. Pulling the fuse will disable abs, traction and stability control. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Just bought sh 1999 Ford Focus - at 45mph traction control light flashes.

The light flashes because the module that controls the system is detecting a fault, you need a scanner hooked up and then drive it and record the results. Yes that takes a dealer or a very well equipped shop.

What is a flashing green light on the dash board under the mph area.

Not sure which light you are referring to but the Traction Control light is in the same area and comes on for a few seconds when you start the car. To see if this is it hit the traction control button by your console and the light should come on

On firm acceleration the abs light comes on and the speedo drops off for just a moment then all is good, what causes this?

traction control, dont step on the pedal so hard, it cuts off spark to some of the injectors and flashes the abs light to notify you your wheels are spinning.

Traction control

Traction Control system adjusts your throttle and braking automatically to help keep your car from slipping on wet/snowy roads. If the light flashes momentarily then that means it is doing the job properly. If the light flashes constantly or stays on then it indicates a problem with the traction control or ABS system and could pose a safety concern.

Tcs light flashes

if you're flooring the car and there's wheelspin that will activate the tcs, which stands for traction control system. It cuts fuel to slow you down until you gain traction. So no burnouts on the TL. =D
