But does not "speak" to the steering wheel. ????? Does not speak to the steering wheel . Pushing the horn button on the steering wheel supply's a ground that energizes the horn relay . Problem inside steering wheel . Does the car have air bag ? Probably need to pull the steering wheel , need special tool to do that . Your best bet mite be to take it to a repair shop.

SOURCE: Car Horn

Try using a 12volt jumper wire directly to the horn from the car battery. also check the ground on the horn. The last thing I would do is pull the steering wheel cover. Make sure the horn is blowing first.

Just to the right? Stand back and look at that tire and see if it is leaning one way or the other. If its affecting the steering it has to be an upper or lower ball joint. Hope it helps.

SOURCE: replace horn fuse in fuse panel of 1992 pontiac bonneville

Your fuse box is located on the driver side under the dash board. Up above where your brake and gas pedal are located. There should be a plastic cover that can be snapped off to reveal all of your fuses and on the inside of this plastic cover there should be a diagram of the fuses that are in use.

94 pontiac bonneville horn does not work. i have checked fuse and it is good.

Ok , try this. have an other person push the horn button while you check for voltage at the horn wire. red wire from meter to horn wire and black to ground on car. should get 12 volts, or you can also use a test light. if it light up the circuit is good, or if you read 12 v on meter. replace horn. if not then find horn relay and replace it. sorry i'm not sure where that is located. might have to follow wire from horn back to it . possible under hood on the firewall. if that is not it then the only thing left is the switch in the steering wheel is not making contact. that is all to the horn circuit. hope this helps.
