Your seat has two motors under the seat that controls directions also cables that join the motors check those to see if they are moving when you press the switch
a car window is a simple device operated by a switch which bridges an electrical connection to make your window actuator(motor) roll the window up or down. Any other function, auto up/down, etc. are controlled by the switch or switch panel. Therefore, there really isn't a reset button. You likely have a bad switch, actuator or fuse. if only one window isn't working I would start with the switch, and then check your actuator if that isn't the issue. If your problem isn't electrical it will be a an issue with the window motor, or track. Good luck
If on a GM car the battery has been disconnect the windows may need to be reprogrammed
The following steps explain how to program the side door window regulator motors:
Press and hold the power window switch until the window is fully DOWN. Continue holding the power window switch for approximately 3 seconds.
Press and hold the power window switch until the window is fully UP. Continue holding the power window switch for approximately 3 seconds.
The power window regulator motor is now programmed for the express function.
You don't say what method you used so try this -lower the window and contnue to hold the button down for another 5 seconds then raise the window a continue to hold the button down for a further 5 seconds hope this helps
RESET AUTO FUNCTION OF WINDOWS.SWITCH ON AND OFF.START THE CAR ANB BEGIN PROSEDURE.IF INDICATION LAMP FLASHES THEN THERE IS A FAULT DETECTED . CAN U HEAR THE MOTOR RUNNING?LET ME KNOW IF U NEED MORE INFO....
you re-initialise the system by moving the window upwards and hold the button for four seconds. Then move down the window and hold the button for another four seconds. Turn ignition off , wait two seconds. Now the auto function should be operable.
1. Start the car and leave it idle. 2. Hold the window button down all the way, until the window is completely down.
3. Let go and push it down again and hold the window button for 2 to 3
seconds then let go. (You should be able to hear or feel (very faintly)
the motor/sensor reset.) 4. Pull up on the window button and roll the window up until it is all the way up, when it is up let go. 5. Pull the button up again for 2 to 3 seconds. (You should be able to hear or feel (very faintly) the motor/sensor reset.)
